The feeding of the 5,000 is one of the few stories that appears in all four Gospel accounts. So, we should probably pay attention, there may be things for us to learn. Jesus had withdrawn the Apostles to a desolate place. When the crowds followed there was a desperate need for provision. While the Apostles could see no way, Jesus showed His compassion and power.
