Sarah J. Maas wrote A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR), the tale of 19-year-old human Feyre who journeys to the faerie world, when she was just 23 years old. Ten years and four more books later, all things ACOTAR have launched the red-hot "romantasy" (romance/fantasy) genre to the height of popularity. Holly and Lily read the first book, recap it, and try to figure out what all the fuss is about. Pros: Hot male fae. Cons: Well, you'll just have to listen to find out.

In the latest non-holiday offering from the Hallmark Channel, workplace romance and enemies-to-lovers seemed good ingredients—as well as Scott Michael Foster of "Crazy Ex Girlfriend" fame—but the results came up as steam-free as the North Pole.
