We must break through limiting beliefs and despair so we can press on towards personal growth, great impact, and confidence!

Today's episode is meant to encourage and uplift so you can continue pressing on towards the great life laid before you! It's time to walk worthy in the calling we have received.  Ephesians 4:1 "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love..."

Hey, Teacher Friend!

In today’s episode, we are tackling 5 routines and/or strategies that will help you cultivate peace in your personal and family life.  I’m discussing morning routines, weekend planning, my paper planner (that I absolutely LOVE) and the way I communicate in order to get more help! 

How do you utilize your time to set up for success at the beginning of every day?  Is your morning routine full of anxious feelings? Are you rushing out the door only to realize you can’t find your keys, left your lunchbox or forgot to tell the ones you love “goodbye”?  

Are your weekends full of grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning or feeling as if you need a couple of extra days to “get it all done”?  Are you truly resting?  Do you feel prepared before your week begins? 

Not only are we seeking “more time” as a teacher, but we are seeking QUALITY of time-the quality that results in peace, enjoyable moments and more opportunities for the people and experiences we care deeply about.    

Let’s be more intentional about our most precious resource in life-TIME!

Hey, Teacher Friend!  

If you were to Google "Test Prep" "Tired of Teaching to the Test" "Teachers with Unrealistic Expectations" you might as well just take a deep breath-it's all over the internet!  Tired of conforming? Tired of saying "I'm no longer going to worry about these formative assessments, all of this testing or my evaluations. I'm going to focus on the students!"  But you find yourself, over and over again, sinking back into fear and frantically preparing for all the things we know are keeping us chained?

Teachers know this isn't high value teaching, and parents want more for their child.  However, dissatisfaction doesn't seem to be a big enough motivator for change.  Especially when you hear the voice of fear whispering throughout your day, "It is what it is. Don't even think about bucking the system. Do you really think you can do better?"

But you can do better. Our children deserve better. You, teacher friend, know what's better because YOU have the ultimate gift. But do you know HOW to do better?  Listen up, teacher friend, your courage is needed!
