Ships in California, and soon in Europe, need to connect to shore power when alongside. It is for health reasons due to nitrous oxides and small harmful particulates that damage the health of people in nearby communities. The problem comes when there is no shore connection.There is an alternative, and this is what STAX Engineering is beginning to offer. Collect and treat the emissions from barges.
