In the penultimate episode of Reel Bad, we dive into the special effects-laden world of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation; a video game movie that keeps up the tradition of video game movies being terrible. But... is it at least fun? Nick, Sam, Tuna, and Marie Ann all try to figure that out.

We finally did it. We watched the final four Hellraiser films, which were not all originally intended to be Hellraiser films. But... the director of Doctor Strange, the Man of Steel himself, and the voice of Cyborg on one of Nick's favorite cartoons pepper this group of sequels. Enjoy as Nick, Matt, Tuna, and Sarah all try to make sense of these movies.

Tobin Addington selected this movie for y'all. You’re welcome! This week, we dive into the critically maligned sex-thriller Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction. ENJOY!

SURPRISE! It's a new episode... and it's a doozie! James Nguyen wanted to make a Hitchcockian film to warn us about global warming. He managed to do half of that. In this episode, Aimee, Valerie, Matt, and Nick take on one of the great modern bad movies: Birdemic: Shock and Terror.

Effects, effects, and more effects. Today, we're talking about computer graphics and how they relate to a little comic book film called Spawn. Rachel, Nick, Tuna, and Bill tackle this tragic misfire.

The Patrons voted and selected the 1984 film, Ghoulies, for us to watch. There is a veritable smorgasbord of reactions to this flick! One of us loved it, one of us hated it, and two were 50/50 on it. Listen as Nick, Matt, Sarah, and Aimee work through their feelings of this schlocky cult hit.

What happens when a studio tries to recapture a massive success it had just a few years earlier? Witness New Line Cinema's The Golden Compass. Well, it involves a lot of exposition, more exposition, and then an incredible cast to deliver that exposition. Join Nick, Nicole, Matt, and Tuna as we all get really frustrated.

What makes a movie good or bad? That's one of the questions at the heart of this episode of Reel Bad as Nick, Marie Ann, Sam, and Bill tackle one of the classic bad movies of our time: Miami Connection. There are ninjas, rock bands, Tae Kwon Do, bikers, cocaine, and long-lost fathers in this low-budget martial arts action flick.

Today, we talk about boredom, sex, existentialism, and sex as Nick, Matt, Aimee, and Tuna sit down to work through the John Boorman "classic," Zardoz.
