Reel Disagreement

This week we fight about two movies that take old monsters and approach them in new, more modern ways: Frankenhooker and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

This week we discuss Fire in the Sky and The Fly, but until after we discuss a bunch of other stuff. It's a long one, but our departures are fun and make us and you question how you like a story to be told.

Disclaimer: There are about 10 seconds of sound missing at about 14 minutes in. Sorry! Not sure what happened... still learning!

In this very special episode, we discuss only one film, a film that inspires love or hate, nothing in between - Hook. Grab your Lost Boys and get ready for a heated debate. Bangarang!

This week we explore Patrick Swayze's various contributions to cinematic history by discussing Dirty Dancing and Roadhouse.

In this episode, with our new name, we discuss The Cutting Edge and Bone Tomahawk. The commentary is... sharp. We hope your response isn't... cold. Warning: Major spoilers and inappropriate cuddling talk.

Who doesn't love Kevin Kline? Not us. We felt like talking about this American treasure and so we watched A Fish Called Wanda and French Kiss.

This week's selections were about mean people: Rob watched Mean Girls and Amy watched Green Room. Skinheads and socialites. Apologies in advance, the sound is a bit wonky on this one. Sorry!

For our second episode, the theme was very loosely The Devil. Amy watched The Exorcist and Rob watched The Devil Wears Prada. We said it was loose.

In our first episode, Amy makes Rob watch Pitch Perfect and Rob makes Amy watch Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. Sex, drugs, and a cappella.
