In 1892, legendary Army Capt. Joseph Blocker reluctantly agrees to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief and his family back to their tribal land. Embarking on a harrowing and perilous journey from Fort Berringer, N.M., to the grasslands of Montana, they soon encounter a young widow whose family was killed on the plains. The travelers must now band together to survive a punishing landscape that's crawling with hostile Comanches and vicious outliers.
Host Nathan has brought to us an underrated and intense film for our his #Wilderness genre choice! We're here with a stellar cast and we get ALL the emotions, gunfights, and probably the best performance by a mumbling mustache we've ever seen! This film gives some devastating action and death scenes, along with some stellar cinematography. Join us for discussing 2017's "Hostiles"!

In this "in between" episodes upload, we'll cover our usual "What Are You Watching?" discussion that we've done on our normal episodes. We talk shop on our movie viewings, tv series and maybe a documentary or two. Nathan might chime in with what board games he's been trying, and we can always count on host Jack to give us an update on his current gaming on his Xbox.

Mark (Elijah Wood), a young boy who loses his mother, must stay with his extended family while his father is away on business. Mark becomes acquainted with his cousin Henry (Macaulay Culkin). However, the extent of Henry's depravity becomes clear when Mark sees him kill a neighbor's dog and intentionally create a traffic pileup on the highway. After a supposed mishap on an icy pond with Henry's sister Connie (Quinn Culkin), Mark tries to reveal Henry's crimes before it's too late.
Host Drew has picked a very notable choice for killer kids movies from the 90's that created some shock for the world with popular child actor Macaulay Culkin! Now we have a sociopathic child, bent on getting all others out of his way and engaging in his twisted satisfactions in... "The Good Son"! This movie has some ups and downs, but you can't deny the creep factor that Culkin brings to the screen. Join us for this discussion and some fun trivia and a look into our own childhood as well!

It's Christmas 1183, and King Henry II (Peter O'Toole) is planning to announce his successor to the throne. The jockeying for the crown, though, is complex. Henry has three sons and wants his boy Prince John (Nigel Terry) to take over. Henry's wife, Queen Eleanor (Katharine Hepburn), has other ideas. She believes their son Prince Richard (Anthony Hopkins) should be king. As the family and various schemers gather for the holiday, each tries to make the indecisive king choose their option.
Ever thought about locking your wife up in prison? Or having your children compete for your love and rule of the land? How about having your mistress marry one of your sons just so you can have her within reach? Well then you might be watching "The Lion in Winter" (1968)! This fabulous adaptation was a great pick by host Jack, and we all loved it. From the costuming, the casting, on-site film locations... this academy award winning film has it all. Join us for an early Christmas this summer and revel in the family drama!
