What you think is true is reel. What really is true is real. What our eyes see physically and what our thoughts tell us can seem so real. But there’s a deeper truth that our physical eyes and subconscious beliefs cannot see. Only the eyes of our heart can see what is truly real.
In other words, much of what we think is true – is a lie.
Jody Hoffman, coach with Identity Exchange, shares that when her husband, Buddy went to be with Jesus she found herself “alone.” That is what her eyes could see.
God showed her a deeper truth – that she never was and never would be alone. She was WITH. With the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Also, in this episode Shawna challenges us to partner with God in being transformed rather than running from concert to conference to retreat hoping to get zapped by the Holy Spirit.
And last Perry was asked recently “How’re ya doing?” And he’s been going through a season of struggle so naturally he said, “I’m fine.” It’s a conversation about how we’re uncomfortable being human.
