Dr. Jill Deissler has had a very interesting career. She was a flight surgeon in the army, General Medical officer, and Army radiologist. Now during the second half of her life and retirement, Jill initially moved from Pennsylvania to Florida to honestly…. better her golf game. But deep down she wanted to do more and continue to help people. Now Jill does social security disability work. In this episode Dr. Cynthia and Doctor Jill talk about NOT retiring “cold turkey” but finding a way to ease out of the full time workforce, going from complete structure to no structure. Finding a way to ease in to retirement by working part time and taking what you love and putting it to work for you. Creating your own hours, taking vacations when you want, while keeping your mind sharp.
