Welcome back to another episode on the podcast. In today's episode we are studying the mother of all mothers, Eve. We will be reading in the book of Genesis 2-3. Key topics we are covering in this episode are; Temptation, free will, the desires of the world vs the desire to be in one with God. One of the biggest highlights from today's message is that God wants us to seek him and have a relationship with him because we love him. Since we are given the ability to have free will, we can make the decision to chase after things of this world, things that look pleasing to the eye (as Eve did) or we can follow Jesus the one who can ultimately satisfy our souls.

Thank you for tuning into today's episode, we are wrapping up this season on the podcast and stepping into our first break. I was extremely worried about taking some time off from the podcast when I am still trying to grow the platform, but I remembered that God's plan for my life will prevail when I choose to simply put him first. so in this break season, I am putting first my relationship with God. The word tells us in Isaiah 57:2 "And they enter into peace; those who walk uprightly will rest on their couches" we do not have to carry our burdens alone or deal with the crazy day to day routines alone. Rest and seek more of Jesus and watch him work miracles in your life.

The word tells us that we will face various trials in life but we can take heart because Jesus is with us and he has overcome the world. Lamentations 3:22-23 says it best "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness" God is the same today as he was yesterday and as he was many years ago when we delivered many generations.
