Since autumn is a season of change, it's perfect timing for "turning a new leaf!" In this podcast, I talk about reading an article at 3:30 am and how it inspired me to forge ahead towards the life I want. I broach the subject of writing our "personal manifesto," or life plan, to steady us when stress tries to knock us off course. Hope you can join me!
Today seemed to be filled with the possibility of becoming anxious. Before it got out of hand I took a gorgeous autumn walk and spent the time focusing on beautiful memories of my sister. A year ago I was booking tickets to be with her after not seeing her for five years. Although I lost her in January, I am incredibly grateful for the precious memories made during that trip. Instead of focusing on what we can't change, let's get outside while we can and choose something to be grateful for!
I woke up at four this morning with a running dialogue in my head that was anything but complimentary. In this episode, I share how I chose to get out of bed and write down the negative "chatter." Then I brought it all to the Lord, asking for His perspective. It helped so much! If you struggle with negative self-talk, this one is for you:)
This is a "true confessions" episode! We all get a little sidetracked sometimes, especially when difficult things happen. This is for everyone who is needing some encouragement to try again.
This episode is the second part of walking alongside my sister during the last days of her life on this earth. Although it was incredibly difficult, there was also beauty to behold. Listen in as I share how God restored our relationship and allowed me to help usher my beautiful sister, Wanda, into the arms of Jesus. Truly a priceless privilege.
I have a long history of procrastination. At one point I thought it was just how I was wired. However, more and more I'm starting to recognize that procrastination only leads to overwhelm. In this episode, I share how I'm learning to whittle away at the things I've been avoiding for far too long.
I am no stranger to anxiety. In fact, up until eleven years ago, I suffered from panic attacks. In today's episode, I share how I recently dealt with a situation that brought me close to the edge of panic and what happened to bring me back to a place of peace.
