This episode continues to take us on a path of exploring Psalm 17. Here we get to look at the comparison between being focused on things that are happening and have value now versus the things that may not be seen now but have an eternal impact. Which do you choose?

Our world and lives see evil on a constant basis. Where is it coming from and is there someone stopping it? Is evil stronger than the powers of good or will good always prevail?  

What is the apple of an eye and who is in the apple of God's eye? Is that a place we should all be striving toward? 

Here we see that the Psalmist asks God for several things. Should we be requesting those things as well? Will it make our life better to have our Father right there with us? 

Here we see the Psalmist turning to God in prayer and then asking for God's presence. What are the benefits of our Father's presence and are you seeking it? 

When we set God before us and look toward Him or guidance are there benefits in our life? What do these benefits look like and should we focus on setting Him and His ways before us and following them? 

Here we continue exploring Psalm 16 and run into a few sentences that are worded very interesting. What do they mean? When we face dark times and feel like we are in a season of night, how do we get through? Is God there for us?  

Here we get to dive into Psalm 16. We see that we should put our trust in our Father and His goodness. Does He think just about caring for us in the present, or does He have an inheritance for us that goes much beyond our present life? What does that inheritance look like for us? 

This episode continues the discussion of who gets to abide in the Lord. We see that there is a small list of characteristics. Are you following them? Is there a reward when you follow these characteristics? 

In this episode, we wrap up our discussion in Psalm 14 and move into Psalm 15. Here we see that God is a refuge for the poor and puts great fear into the wicked. Then an interesting question is posed, who abides with the Lord and in His house? We will start answering this question, but join me in the next episode to learn more.
