In this episode, we get to look at where we can turn when we are feeling burdened and weighted down. Our Father cares so much about us that He is a refuge for us in times of trouble. Join me to learn about the care our Father gives us. 

This episode covers the first several verses in Psalm 9 which discuss how our Father brings justice to those who are pursuing evil. It is comforting to know that He is on the throne and bringing righteousness to pass. 

Here we learn about the power of our Father to be able to use the words of babies to stop the works of evildoers. He also balances and calculates all the needs of our universe, down to the smallest detail of our daily lives. How powerful and awesome is that! 

This episode continues to explore Psalm 7 and God's response to evil and the works of the wicked. Does He see and deal with the evil that surrounds the world?  

The Psalmist comes before our Father and lets Him know that he made a mistake and then presents his other requests. Join me to see what God's response is? Does He reward honesty with protection and a relationship with us? Is that something you want? 

In this episode, we see the Psalmist talk to God about judging someone and making them an enemy unnecessarily. What are things that we should be doing to avoid this and what else does the Psalmist have to say about this situation? 

The Psalmist shows us how in stressful or situations where people are being mean to us, we should handle it. The stress of dealing with it ourselves is something we do not have to concern ourselves with. We have our Father to trust in to protect and defend us and perfectly handle the situation. 

The Psalmist here dives into grief. There are times where life may present deep pain and hardship. Is there a way we can deal with that and let God handle it for us? 

This episode looks at requests we can and should make to God. We also learn about a tactic we can use when we are angry. When we face challenges we can cry to our Father to show us mercy and save us as we heard about in our last episode with Him being our defender. 

As we have been learning in the past several episodes our Father cares deeply about us, protects us, doesn't let evil stand, and leads us to the best possible outcome for our lives. Here we learn about how trusting in Him and truly relying on His power to guide us, we can have great joy.
