We get to start walking through Psalm 104 in this episode. Here the Psalmist tells us of the detailed care our Father provides to our world and to us. Though our daily lives bring us stress and we get caught in anxiety, we should be like the Psalmist and remember that He has purposefully and in a very detailed manner planned everything and is guiding our lives. 

We continue journeying through Psalm 103 in this episode. The Psalmist continues telling us that we should bless our Father. Helping us remember that He does not deal with us after our sin and reward us for the sins we have done. Instead He removes our sin from us like the east from the west and shows us mercy as far as the earth is from heaven. How amazing and unfathomable that is! 

Here we walk into Psalm 103. The Psalmist tells us that we should not forget the benefits of our Father and we should bless Him. When we see that it is through Him that we are given life and everything we have in life, He is the one that forgives all our sins, heals us from all illnesses, saves us from destruction, crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercy, and gives us all good things, renewing our strength like a young eagle, this becomes the obvious choice of action. Are we blessing our Father today and not forgetting the benefits He gives us on a daily basis? 

The journey through Psalm 102 continues in this episode. The Psalmist continues telling us about the hardships he is facing, but while talking to God and bringing his cares to Him, he is able to realize God's great power, character of love and endurance through all time and no matter what. The Psalmist continues that he feels weak, but we see that God has a plan for everything and through the weakness and pain is actually refining us like metal and making us stronger like when we go to the gym. 

This episode takes us to Psalm 102. The Psalmist here has a very different tone than the one we saw in Psalm 101. Instead of looking at the items in life to be successful, the Psalmist here is very broken and asking God to hear his cry and answer rapidly. In these moments there are certain things to look out for and avoid and certain things we can do to get through the painful moments. Join me to learn what they are. 

This episode takes us to the beginning of Psalm 101. Here the Psalmist tells us the action steps he is going to talk to help himself walk right with God. What are these steps and can we also set them up in our lives, allowing for success? 

Was recently discussing with a friend that daily we are in a fight for our lives, for our faith, and against temptations and sin. It's not the most exciting if you look at it from that perspective. But something I've come to learn through walking through the last several episodes of Reflections is that instead of thinking of each day as a fight and fighting the weakness of the flesh, we can and should think of the greatness of our Father. The might acts, marvelous beauty and care, the love, and the opportunity to work in partnership with Him and spend eternity in His presence. As Psalm 100 tells us we should be going about our day making a joyful noise and praising Him, serving Him with gladness. Looking for the things to praise and thinking on our Father I've noticed makes it easy to get through the day and brings great rejoicing to my heart. Maybe this is something you can try. 

We continue journeying through Psalm 99 in this episode and make it further than one verse. But here we are told that our Father is famous and known not just in some areas of the world or to certain people. Instead, He is known in Zion, the mountain and government of all nations. That is where He rules from and He makes His intentions clear to all. With this power though, He does not serve Himself or exploit the power, instead, He brings justice, fairness, and impartiality. What a way to use fame, spreading love and care, bringing justice.  

Here we open Psalm 99. But we only get through verse one because it is so powerfully important to realize what is happening here. Our Father, the Creator of the universe, the One who reigns over everything has a perfect building plan for your life, for the world, and is making that happen. But the coolest part about that is that He invites us to be in partnership with Him. Helping Him build. Are we accepting that honor or are we trying to build our own office in His building? 

This episode takes us on a journey through Psalm 98. Here we are told that we should be singing a new song to our Father. He has done marvelous things and through just His right hand and arm He has defeated death, saved us from our sins, and given us life and the opportunity to spend eternity with Him.
