  • The Most Successful People Do this One Key Thing

You weren’t meant to do life and work the way it’s been handed to you.

The systems we live in weren’t built for people who carry careers and caregiving. They weren’t built for people who hold all the details, all the weight, all the moving pieces.

They were built by (and for) people with far fewer responsibilities.

And yet, every day, we show up. We push through. We squeeze ourselves into structures that were never meant to support us.

    But what if you stopped?

What if you stopped trying to fit yourself into a system that was never built for you?

What if, instead, you started designing your life to actually work for you?

And what if, in doing that, you positively influenced NEW systems that supported more people?

Maybe the best question - why not start today?

  • Becoming a Time Millionaire

Most people will spend the next 10 years doing what they’ve always done.

Waking up to the same schedule. Following the same patterns. Thinking about making a change but never actually doing it.

    That’s 5 million minutes. Gone.

And in the end, they’ll wonder why they still feel like they’re waiting for their “real life” to begin.

I know this, because 10 years ago, I was almost one of them.

But instead of waiting, we turned our lives into a research study.

We pushed against the limits of how life is supposed to be done.

    We experimented, failed, and rebuilt.

We questioned every assumption about success, time, and freedom.

Because we weren’t just trying to build a different life for ourselves.

We were trying to prove it could be done differently.

    And it can be.

Those 5 million minutes can be spent on building the life you want. Or they can zoom by, wasted on statements like, "somday, I'll..."

    So a reflection question today:

    • If you were gifted 5 million minutes right now, what would you do with them?
    • What's one thing you can do to spend the next minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes doing exactly that and starting to make the most of the time you have?

  • This Simple Question Changes Everything

The Key to Moving Forward (Even in Uncertain Times)
What if life is actually happening for you?

If you want a life of tension, burnout, and agitation—stay stuck in believing life is happening to you.

If you want a life of alignment, growth, and fulfillment—get curious about how it’s happening for you.

This is more than a nice idea. It’s a necessary practice for anyone who wants to live in alignment with their values and intentions instead of just letting the things that happen dictate their experience.

    But here’s the challenge:

Most people stay stuck in frustration, focusing on what’s wrong instead of creating what’s next.

🔑 The unlock? Asking the right question.

➡️ How is this happening FOR me?
    ➡️ What is this revealing?
➡️ What new possibilities can emerge from this?

This is how we shift from frustration to creation. From unknown to clarity. From stuck to momentum.

And inside UNLOCKED, we don’t just talk about it—we practice it.

🔑 For our UNLOCKED members: This week, we’re diving deep into this concept with an exclusive post + audio guide to help you actively integrate this shift into your life. Plus! Join us for our LIVE Podcast recording on this topic next week!

  • Necessary Endings

One of the most profound emails I’ve ever received was from a client who had just been laid off. But instead of fear, she felt inspired and grateful.

She had been wanting more time with her family. She had been craving alignment with her values. She had been yearning for change. But she wasn’t going to make the move herself.

Her layoff wasn’t the plan, but it was the push she needed.

How often do we hold onto things that no longer serve us? A job. A relationship. A belief about what success should look like.

We stay because we’re afraid. Because we don’t want to be irresponsible. Because letting go feels like failure.

But what if walking away is actually the boldest move you can make?

In Necessary Endings, Dr. Henry Cloud reminds us that some things need to end for the right things to begin.

So, I invite you to reflect:

    • What in your life is no longer working?
    • What do you actually want to move toward?
    • What small step can you take today to create space for what’s next?

  • Time Freedom vs. Material Wealth

Here’s where most of us get stuck: we choose the safe, logical path because it promises security. We’re told that financial freedom will buy us the time freedom we crave if we just work long, hard and smart enough.

    But that’s a lie.

I’ve watched far too many people retire with anticipation of time freedom only to have it snatched away by an early death just a couple years after their last day of work.

Society promotes: Money over values. Retirement over presence. The promise of ‘someday’ over the gift of right now.

We trade our time, health, and relationships for “financial freedom,” not realizing that the cost is far greater than the paycheck.

The truth? You don’t need financial freedom to have time freedom.

    This isn’t just a personal wake-up call. It’s a collective one.

This week’s National Report Card shows a sobering truth: as incomes rise, our well-being is plummeting.

“Our rising incomes are not translating into greater perceived well-being and social connection.”

“We see declines in relationships, increases in social isolation, and eroding mental health.”

Haunting charts like this paint a grim picture for our future if we continue on this path.

It’s not the money that’s the problem. It’s the belief that money is the solution.

Our society is running on a dangerous assumption: that success equals wealth, and wealth equals happiness. But the data tells a different story.

People are lonelier than ever. Anxiety and depression are skyrocketing. Families are disconnected. And despite having more wealth than ever before, we feel less fulfilled.

    The Shift We Need

    This isn’t just a personal wake-up call. It’s a collective one.

We need to rewrite the narrative. Not just for ourselves but for our communities, our children, and the generations that follow.

Imagine if more of us prioritized time over titles, presence over productivity, connection over consumption.

Imagine the ripple effect if we all made small, intentional shifts toward what truly matters.

    Your Invitation to Reflect

Below is a reflection opportunity for you to get clear on where this exists in your own life. Take a moment to settle in and consider the questions below using the audio above to guide you. When you’re finished with the visualization, answer the following questions:

    • Where are you trading time for things that don’t truly matter?
    • What nudges have you been ignoring?
    • What small step could you take today to reclaim your time?
    13 min
  • Taking back your time: Prioritize what matters most

"My time is not valuable to 99.9999% of people in the world.

But my time is the most valuable thing in the world to a few people."

    The Trap of Overextension

We’ve all been there: giving too much to people or pursuits that don’t align with what matters most and don't return what we had hoped. Pouring our worth and power into our hopes for external validation.

We spend our time and energy on:

    • People or clients we barely know.
    • Chasing perfectionism or people-pleasing.
    • Pursuing goals that reflect societal expectations rather than personal values.

The Cost of Overextension is Steep

We lose presence with the people and priorities that mean the most to us. We sacrifice our peace, creativity, and health, all in the name of being “enough.”

We give away power and energy to other people who don’t want it and won’t return it.

Not because they don’t want to or because they’re not nice people. But mostly because they have all their own stuff going on. Focused on the people and things where they want and need to be focused.

The constant chase for external validation leaves us feeling emptier, not fuller.

    The Question That Changes Everything

When we turn inward and focus on the relationships and practices that fill us up, we create a life rooted in true value exchange and the most meaningful outcomes.

The question shifts from, “Am I enough for them?” to, “Am I investing in what’s most important to me?”

    Your Invitation to Reflect

Below is a reflection opportunity for you to get clear on where this exists in your own life. Take a moment to settle in and consider the questions below using the audio above to guide you. When you’re finished with the visualization, answer the following questions:

    • What are you currently over-investing in with your time, energy, or resources?
    • What is actually most or more important to you?
    • How can you redesign your week (and year) to shift your focus toward what matters most?

  • The Life You Want vs. Fear

Living intentionally doesn’t guarantee ease or perfection.

It requires making hard decisions and staying true to your values, even when the path is challenging.

Ultimately, there’s no right or wrong answer. Just choices. Made one after the other to the best of your ability.

With intention at the helm, those choices lead to outcomes that - although difficult - are filled with pride, love and growth.

    Your Turn to Reflect

Clarity comes from your own reflections, values and intentions. Below is an invitation to reflect on this in your own life using the audio above to guide you.

    • Is there a situation you’re currently facing where you are balancing values vs. fear, risk, uncertainty, etc.?
    • What would your values and intentions tell you to do?
    • What is one small thing you can do to start moving in the direction of that choice?
    11 min
  • Releasing external expectations and moving at your own pace

Every time I’ve found alignment and peace, it’s because I slowed down and listened to my intuition.

I let go of the rush and trusted the pace that felt right for me. I chose to:

    • Simplify instead of overextend.
    • Stabilize instead of sprint.
    • Feel instead of force.

And in those moments, I remember something powerful: Freedom isn’t in doing more. It’s in trusting your own rhythm.

True freedom comes from within—from listening to your intuition, moving at your own pace, and letting go of external expectations.

  • The self-care rhythms that ground us

Life has a way of derailing our carefully laid plans.

Whether it’s the chaos of the holidays, an unexpected illness, or the daily demands of work and family, the pressure can feel unbearable at times.

It’s easy to lose ourselves in the doing, striving to make everything “perfect” and taking care of everyone else’s needs while ignoring what truly matters to us.

But what we really need is what grounds us in those moments—the steady rhythms that tether us to our authentic selves and allow us to navigate life’s unpredictability with grace.

    Your turn to reflect

Below is a reflection opportunity for you to get clear on where this exists in your own life. Take a moment to settle in and consider the questions below using the audio above to guide you. When you’re finished with the visualization, answer the following questions:

    • What simple practices keep you tethered to your most authentic self and life vision?
    • What’s one thing you could do or change to ensure that practice is prioritized in your life today?

  • Knowing the subtle difference between when to let go and when to lean in

When we find ourselves stuck in a cycle of sacrifice or overwhelm, it’s worth pausing to ask:

Am I gripping the wheel because it serves me, the situation and those around me? Or because I’m afraid of letting go?

I read something this week from Elena Brower that cements this point. In reflecting on the death of her dear friend and honoring her beautiful soul and life, she shared words of wisdom that hit deep:

“Once you know it’s time to leave, don’t stay.”

Once you know where you need to let go, don’t hold tightly. Release. Let life flow. Let yourself be free of any expectations, standards or unnecessary fears, especially those that are self-imposed.

You’ve got this one life, don’t live it in the pursuit of something (or someone) that is not aligned with your vision and ultimate purpose.

    Your Turn to Reflect
Below is a reflection opportunity for you to get clear on where this exists in your own life. Take a moment to settle in and consider the questions below using the audio above to guide you.

When you’re finished with the visualization, answer the following questions:

    • Where are you clinging too tightly in your life right now?
    • What’s your vision? What are you actually trying to achieve? And for whom?
    • Are you sacrificing your well-being, joy, or peace for a “gold medal” no one’s handing out? Or are you feeling called to lean in and let go of anything that’s holding you back?
    • What would it look like to let go? What would it FEEL like to let go?
