Gaming in 2022 continues to suffer from delays. Recently we've learned that Starfield, Redfall, Replaced and The Quarry (multiplayer) were all being delayed. What has caused this to go on for such an extended time and is there an end in sight?

Square Enix is making drastic shifts to not only its structure in selling off its western and underperforming properties but they have taken a stance on 3rd party software in their games.

Sony was facing some intense backlash surrounding its PS Plus upgrade path/process. A great deal of miscommunication, bad information and apparently a bug has led Sony to reverse their decision and keep their customer base happy.

New World is continuing to update the game and world adding a roadmap and some new features. The most recent update add a new PVP arena and some quality of life changes.

God of War: Ragnarok has received a rating in South Korea, suggesting the game is on track for its 2022 release date. Sony Santa Monica Devs, writers and supporters have been insisting that game will be released in 2022 but critics have cast doubt. There could be huge God of War Ragnarok Updates coming in the next few days/weeks

Forspoken has received a PEGI rating, potentially suggesting that the game is close to completion and still on track to release later this year. In early news this week some sources close to the game suggested there may be a delay to Forspoken but this gives us some hope that it won't fall victim to the current trend of delays.

It looks like PS5 exclusive Returnal may be heading to PC. Details for Housemarque's BAFTA winning sci-fi roguelike have been spotted on SteamDB, including references to its Tower of Sisyphus DLC, Selene's ship Helios, and the alien planet of Atropos. Returnal would follow the likes of God of War earlier this year, as well as Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn as previous console exclusives arriving on PC

New No Man's Sky's newest expedition (Leviathan) Hello Games adds a time loop and 'space whales'. In the Leviathan expedition, you'll need to break the time loop to earn your very own space whale. No Man's Sky continues to build on its redemption story!
