The Christians singing on plane viral video has me reacting as a Christian in a variety of ways. Even though the term "Don't Say Gay" is not a good representation, there are more bills in more states aiming at similar restrictions for gender identity and education. Florida's don't say gay bill passed even as it was referred to as controversial and in many ways misrepresented.  Those within the LGBTQ community continue to push for more cultural acceptance while some in the culture feel certain areas are just too far or maybe too early. Weed legalization just got a bit closer nationally when a bill passes to decriminalize marijuana. The topic of marijuana legalization has been hotly debated for years and recently has seen a stronger shift toward it being a national reality.  The bill narrowly passed because, according to CNN, "Republicans Tom McClintock of California, Brian Mast and Matt Gaetz, both of Florida, joined the majority of Democrats in supporting the bill, while Democrats Henry Cuellar of Texas and Chris Pappas of New Hampshire voted against."
