We are to be witnesses not only here at home (Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria), but also to the ends of the earth. In God’s Word, there’s no competition between gospel need at home, and gospel need around the world. Don’t put an “OR” where God puts an “AND!”

I'm saved, now what? Our guest speaker Trey Bailey explains how we've been saved to serve, share, and sow. Thanks for listening to this week's Refuel podcast!
Jesus was tempted directly by Satan! Satan tried to exploit Jesus hunger and his identity to get Jesus to stumble. He does the same to us. Through Jesus’ example, we learn the way out of temptation, and into God’s plan for our lives. His plan is bigger than just escaping - it's a life that's bought and paid for by Jesus.

Missions is not only for “missionaries,” but teens can be involved too, even if it may seem like they don’t have the ability or resources! God has given teens a unique set of skills. When teens give God what little they think they have, he multiplies it. Through obedience to God’s mission in small ways, we begin a lifelong pattern of giving our best to God for the completion of his mission.

Disney movies always say “Follow your heart.” The truth is, according to James, our hearts are where temptation begins. Whatever is in our hearts will influence our lives. If we want to beat temptation, we have to begin at the beginning: our hearts. What do we love? Unfortunately, many of us are following our hearts directly to dead ends. Jesus said, “love the Lord your God with all your heart.”

And, those who don’t think they have anything to worry about are the ones in the most immediate danger! Thankfully, God promises to provide a way of escape from temptation. What is it?

This week at Refuel, we're talking about eternal security. The good news is that being saved isn't about you holding on to God, but about God holding on to you! Our Scripture comes from John 10:22-30.
