Refusing Access To A Guide Dog Is Illegal.

The charity Guide Dogs is campaigning for councils to demand new, and existing, taxi and mini cab drivers take Disability Awareness Training before they are allowed to be licensed.
 This is because of the rising number of refusals by the drivers, and other service providers like hotels and restaurants, that are not only illegal but distressing for the assistance dog owners.
 RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Sarah Schoenberger from Guide Dogs to learn more about their campaign and how you can get involved.
