WASSUP SNEAKERHEADS? Want to argue about "Air" [00:27:35]? Well, that's probably not going to happen either, as the gang had a delightful experience taking in the latest from Ben Affleck. Considering that this podcast is always recorded just a few steps away from quite literally hundreds of pairs of Nike/Michael Jordan shoes spanning the entire output of the ongoing collaboration, this movie found its audience in your Movie Masters. Get into the weeds on Peter Moore, Deloris Jordan, Sonny Vaccaro, and everyone else that played the most pivotal roles in the phenomenon that became the Jordan 1.

"One Thousand And One" [00:52:50] is the debut from writer/director A.V. Rockwell, starring Teyana Taylor. Easily one of the gang's favorite onesheets so far this year, did the film itself hold up to the beauty of the poster?

In the news [1:05:50], Dana Carvey (not to be confused with Martin Short, COLIN), recently revealed how difficult it was to pray for the victims of 9/11 while clad in the heavy prosthetics of "turtle man" during principle photography of the 2001 film "Master of Disguise."

Finally, the premiere edition of a new game called A.I.MBD is hatched into the world [1:08:30]. Four movie plots are read. Three are real. One is written by ChatGPT. Can you guess which is which?

Was it bold or just utterly ill-advised to open "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" less than one week before "The Super Mario Bros. Movie?" D&D cost over $150,000,000 to make and still hasn't recouped its production costs. Released just five days later, TSMBM cost around $100,000,000 and grossed over $374,000,000 its opening week while dropping D&D to a distant #4 and a precipitous financial free-fall from its opening level. Yet while EOne and Paramount may not have made wise choices in scheduling, they certainly made fantastic choices in writer/directors, cast, and the ultimate execution of the narrative. D&D is very fun movie and the gang has no shortage of great things to say about it.

"Spinning Gold" is another story on every level in that, out of almost 50 theatrical releases screened in 2023, it's the front-runner in the gang's consensus worst film by far. Was this a money-laundering thing? Was the film made by an entire family of Tommy Wiseaus? Either way, this thing made Neil Breen look like Wes Anderson. Tune in for the ensuing burial.

The gang's resident Faith-Based Cinema enthusiast duo try on "His Only Son," which is a change of pace in the sense that the screenplay is based on actual Bible narratives than the regular stream of modern victim, ridiculous persecution complex fare. Did it work for them?

And finally, the gang rips through the 40 theatrical releases that comprised quarter 1 of the 2023 Regal Movie Masters Unlimited schedule and tier-rates everything seen in order to determine the best so far. "John Wick: Chapter 4" [00:01:42] hit theaters and the gang was there on opening night. You know this franchise, it's very likely that you love it. Hear everyone's favorite parts , performances, and larger questions for the Wick Universe.

"The Lost King" [00:35:40] is up next and, if it's under your radar, the gang highly recommends that you put it on. Frears! Hawkins! Coogan! Richard III! It's either a very loose or very accurate (depending on who you believe) biopic of Philippa Langley's real-life quest to find the buried remains of King Richard III under a parking lot in the UK. Probably the only film in history where the villain is the University of Leicester.

"A Good Person" [01:02:12] is not a good movie. Tune in to hear why.
