Our guest on this week's episode of Regarding Tampa is the current News and Politics Editor at Creative Loafing and former News Director for WMNF 88.5, Mitch Perry. In our chat with Mitch we talked about his history as a journalist, the Tampa Bay political scene and Tampa's increasing role on the national political stage.

On our 20th episode of Regarding Tampa we sit down with Lucas Overby, the Libertarian candidate for the United States House of Representatives for Florida's 13th District. Lucas has been running a tight campaign against Democratic candidate and former Gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink and Republican candidate David Jolly. We talked to Lucas about what his policies would be if he made it to Washington, the support he has received from the local community and the surprising amount of media coverage he has received as as third party candidate.

On our 19th episode of Regarding Tampa our guests are Michael J. Wolf and Wolf-Fart from Tampa's own "Teen Wolf"-themed punk band, Wolf-Face. The band, which formed two years ago and released their first album late last year, have played at several notable events around the state and are set to release their first music video for their song "I Wanna Be a Homo (Sapien)" next Tuesday. During our sit-down with the band we discussed how the classic 80's film "Teen Wolf" was semi-autobiographical, playing punk rock in the Tampa Bay area and the struggles that young werewolves face today.

On this week's episode of Regarding Tampa our guest is Billy Summer, a Tampa native and local musician who is currently the frontman for Luxury Mane, a reserve guitarist for The Black Honkeys and formerly a member of The Semis. In our conversation with Billy we talked about his long career in music, playing in three very different bands and how the musical landscape of the Bay Area has changed over the years.

Our guest on this week's podcast is Bradley L'Herrou, one of the founders of Tampa-based board game company Sovereign Games. Sovereign was founded in 2010 and has released three games in the years since. In our conversation with Bradley we talked about designing board games, the Eurogame revival and Sovereign's latest game, Masterless.

Our guests on this week's episode of Regarding Tampa are local rock band New Cathedral. The guys in the band go way back and we talked to them about their new EP, their place in Tampa's music community and pizza. This is probably our goofiest episode yet, but in a good way?

Microgroove Records in Seminole Heights has already become a staple of the Tampa music scene in the short time since its opening two years ago. This week our guest its founder and proprietor, Keith Ulrey. In addition to owning the record store, Keith also runs Tampa's own New Granada record label, which is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. We sat down with Keith to talk about the changing ways that music is consumed, how the Tampa scene has changed since the 80s and 90s,  and about owning both a record store and label.

This week's episode is an interview with Wayne Valenti, the founder of a North Tampa institution: The Tampa Pitcher Show. On this week's episode of Regarding Tampa we went to St. Petersburg's own Venture Compound to sit down with founders Jesse Thelonious Vance and Bradley Kokay. The Compound is an experimental art studio and performance space that has, in its two years of existence, hosted events such as the St. Pete Zine Fest and Florida Free Film Festival, classes for the St. Pete Free Skool as well as hundreds of shows featuring musicians and artists from around the world. In our conversation with Jesse and Brad we talked about the history of the Compound, the art scene in St. Pete and the plans that they have for the future of the Compound.
