Today is a big sister talk on setting boundaries and having spiritual hygiene! We have to say NO to allow in a true YES, and women especially aren't often taught this.
When we defend our boundaries and guide our decisions based on our true core principles, that's when we can co-create with the universe the actual life we want to live.
It's incredibly important to get crystal clear on and double down on our values, set clear boundaries and practice spiritual hygiene, yet few people practice this - so today, we're exploring how to get clear on your core values and set firm boundaries around them.
Drawing from a recent experience I had where my boundaries were so disrespected it was almost funny, I thought this would be a good teaching moment on how to get incredibly clear on your values and boundaries and defend them as though your life depends on it - because you getting your dream life literally does.

It's quite a time to be alive, and in this episode with incredible artist Luke Schroeder (@lukeschroederart) we explore ways to use imagination, clear communication and truth seeking, and key actions to create a better world. The transition won’t be easy, but it will be incredibly rewarding! In 10 years we can be living in systems that are healthy, rewarding, regenerative - if we orient towards a future where that can come forth. We have a lot of the ideas we need as a culture, it's time to bring them into the forefront of our minds and take action on them.
In this episode you will find key ways to re-engage with life, community and connection, such as:
Acknowledging we are ecosystems ourselves, and honoring our microbiomes
Meeting in person and having open, longer form conversations
Using Nonviolent Communication - not sure where to start? Order the book!
Accessing the rich plethora of plant medicines and psychedelics that exist to heal our minds and our bodies
Confronting our own cynicism.
Realizing that everything we buy or participate in is a vote for that thing to keep persisting.
Our individual choices matter - we have so many grassroots things we can do. Don’t wear polyester, don’t buy from factory farms, but also know that no one is perfect.
Coordinating an open flow of information, and using that to turn the marketplace we live in to a democratic system by working together in this way.
Coming up with a precise set of demands of things that we want to see happen so that when we protest, we get the full spectrum of changes we want because we’re so clear on our deeper set of demands and our plans.
Meditation and nature connection practices.

Sharing a raw, real mini episode with you guys about what's helping me mentally and spiritually process and learn from the enormous hurricane damage in my former hometown of Asheville, NC... happening just over a year after a large part of Maui, another home for me for almost 5 years, was destroyed in one of the deadliest wildfires in US history.
In this time where climate change and internet culture are intersecting, caring for ourselves and our loved ones so that we can effectively collaborate for positive change has never been more important. I'm far from an expert or someone who has arrived at a place of inner peace and balance with all this, but it felt important to share the tools I know and how/why to use them in case they might help you or someone you love.
What's helping:
I also highly recommend donating to Beloved Asheville, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, and Nanostead as they help Asheville try to rebuild after such an enormous disaster.
Sending you all so much love and support in these wild times.

Jonathan Mischke went from the A-List of the experiential marketing game (think a client list that included Apple, Google, Facebook, Beats by Dre, Kellogg’s, and Activision) to wondering if the 30 years he spent in that industry were somehow going the wrong way in life.
On the other side of deep existential questioning and panic, he's come out in a thriving entrepreneurial role helping great causes that help the planet and humanity, on a career path of more meaningful contribution.
He takes us through the steps that helped him get in touch with his true purpose in the world, exercises we can do to get in touch with our own innate gifts, how we can contribute to changing the consciousness of humanity to help the trajectory the planet is on, and steps to activate synchronistic support from the universe.
I was so happy to meet Jonathan at the Conscious Entrepreneur Summit in Boulder, Colorado and I know you'll get as much out of this conversation as I did!

My goal with this episode is to give you the big sister talk I wish I'd gotten when I was turning 30! There's so much stigma, pressure, and other unnecessary societal conditioning around turning 30, and that our worth as women plummets when we hit that number.
I've found 100% of these to be completely untrue. My mental, physical, financial health and overall happiness is honestly better than it's ever been, and I feel like culturally we do a terrible job of educating women about the opportunity, empowerment, and happiness waiting for us on the other side of 30. I'm here to tell you that your ability to serve your mission in the world, your confidence, and really everything about your life will improve drastically once you hit 30 - not the other way around.
Thanks for being patient with me as I've taken a break from publishing episodes over the summer! More coming soon.

It's been a wild ride since my last podcast episode, and I'm so excited to explore how we can use challenging experiences (I've had TWO near-death experiences in the past month and a half - !) and science fiction to greatly deepen our relationship with our creativity and help us use it for good.
Basically, I'm weaving together everything I've learned from my recent wild life experiences and my current Dune obsession - the books, not the movies - to give you juice you can use to fuel the creative aspects of your great work in the world.
To check out a real-life Dune transformation, head to this video by Andrew Millison to see the Great Green Wall being grown across Africa to stop the march of the Sahara desert.
