Patrick and Killer Queen have played in front of audiences of thousands and in that time, Patrick has become one of the most well known and beloved performers to carry Freddie Mercury's persona on stage across the globe. Killer Queen is performing at The Adler Theater in Davenport on Saturday, October 14th.

Third Grader Callie Johnson joined Wake Up Tri-Counties on Wednesday with The Good News about Fire Safety...

Craig Gilson is the vice president of Electric Operations for Ameren Illinois. And, for a significant part of his career at Ameren, he's been part of the organization sending lineman to the International Lineman's Rodeo in Overland, Kansas. Each year, lineman compete in events that demonstrate skill and safety, as they compete in timed events that also demonstrate skills that underline doing their job quickly but with safety first. More than 200 Ameren Linemen will be taking part in the Lineman's Rodeo in 2023 and Craig spoke with WKEI on Wednesday morning about what makes the Lineman's Rodeo so unique.

The Henry County Farm Bureau is talking about Driver Safety. Katie Laleman from the Henry County Farm Bureau joined Wake Up Tri-Counties on Tuesday morning to talk about harvest season and specifically about equipment on the roads in Henry County and how to stay safe when driving behind or attempting to pass Farm Equipment. The Henry County Farm Bureau recently made visits to schools in Henry County with the Henry County Sheriff's Office and a driving simulator that gives kids the chance to see what driving in farm traffic can be like. But, the most important piece of equipment was farm equipment. Kids got the chance to climb inside the kind of equipment they may one day end up driving behind for a chance to understand what the farmer sees versus what you as a driver can see.

Mayor Inman returns to the studio to chat about City of Macomb business including the resignation of the previous City Accountant and the appointment of the new Accountant at last night's Council meeting, the Town & Gown 2023 event last week, and the some details about the acquisition of the K-Mart, Pizza Hut, and Marine Bank properties on East Jackson Street.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and that means its time to talk Mammograms. Brooklyn Pickering is a Mammogram Tech at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center and Josh Bainbridge is the head of the Radiology Department at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center. They joined Wake Up Tri-Counties on Monday, October 9th, along with Samantha Rux from OSF, to talk about Breast Cancer Awareness, Mammograms, and the Radiology Department. Brooklyn talked about when patients need to start getting a yearly mammogram, it's after the age of 40, and Josh told us about the department and the fact that the Radiology Department is currently hiring following the retirement of two long lasting employees.

Illinois State Representative Brad Fritts joined us early this morning to chat a bit about agriculture and the harvest progress, and the upcoming veto session in Springfield later this month.
