How can we address violence and despair in our communities? Author Dothula Baron feels that one way is to start with kids. Teaching children meditation and de-escalation techniques at an early age and encouraging kids to look inside themsevles at an early age can begin the process of reversing the growing discontent in communities across the country. Dothula's book Walking In Light, Living In Love is available now with more conflict resolution and tips on being more thoughtful, empathetic and open.

Leslie Vano is the new director of the Kewanee Public Library. Leslie has officially taken over for the retiring Barbara Love after a 30 day period of training. Leslie, former of the Rockford Library, says she's had a great experience thus far and she's excited about the future of the Library.
