Wake Up Sauk Valley with The YWCA by Regional Media

The Chase returns to ABC on Sunday night at 8 Pm. Season two reunites past Jeopardy champions, Ken Jennings, James Holzhauer and Brad Rutter as they Chase down a series of challengers to their trivia champion status. Joining Ken, James and Brad this season is the Chaser from the legendary British The Chase Champion, Mark The Beast Labett. Brad Rutter joined Wake Up Tri-Counties on Friday morning to preview the new season of The Chase, Sunday night at 8 Pm Central time on ABC and streaming on Hulu.

The Henry County Senior Center is starting to open up again. In yet another step toward getting back to normal, the Henry County Senior Center is re-opening for Lunch at the Senior Center on June 14th. Not only that but the Senior Center will also be bringing back Tuesday night dinners beginning in July of this year. It's been over a year since the Senior Center has opened its doors for Lunch and for Tuesday dinner and everyone at the Senior Center is excited to see seniors back at the Senior Center.

Yes, things are improving all around when it comes to COVID-19 infection numbers. However, we are not fully out of the woods yet. That's the message from the Henry and Stark County Health Department. As we get closer to the end of The Bridge Phase and the full re-opening of the state of Illinois, the Health Department reminds everyone that COVID-19 is still out there and with variants of the virus still taking hold, it's important those who are not vaccinated get vaccinated and if they don't get vaccinated, they need to continue to wear a mask and keep distance from others in order to keep potential infections from occurring. Vaccinated people can carry the COVID-19 virus and pass it along to people who are not vaccinated so it is urgently important to remain vigilant.
