The Henry and Stark County Health Department made the dire announcement on Thursday that three people in Henry County and 1 person in Stark County have died from COVID-19. According to the information provided by the Health Department, a man in his 60s, a man in his 70s and another man in his 70s are the 18th, 19th, and 20th, persons to die from COVID-19 thus far. A man in his 70s became the fourth person to die from COVID-19 in Stark County. That's 24 people who have died from COVID-19 between the two counties since the start of the pandemic.
The Henry and Stark County Health Department released new COVID-19 numbers on Thursday afternoon, following the announcement of these four deaths. By the latest numbers, there are now 2,861 confirmed positive or probable cases of COVID-19 Henry County while Stark County has now topped 300 cases, a total of 304 confirmed positive or probable cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic. The latest seven-day rolling test positivity rate is 17% for Henry County and 17.1% for Stark County.
