"I’ve spent the better half of the last year attempting to reconcile the trauma my body has been through with the healing that’s finally found me and how different that same body looks. It’s amazing that I even have to remind myself that the miracle of what I’m living should trump any associated negative feelings about my body feeling and looking heavier, lumpier, different.
