We are so excited to have Bluphoria's guitarist Reign LaFreniere as our guest on No Simple Road This week! Bluphoria is a pop-rock/alternative band, with psychedelic and southern rock influences originally based out of Eugene, Oregon but now hailing from Nashville, Tennessee!

LaFreniere, 22, along with Dakota Landrum [19, rhythm guitar, background vocals], Dani Janae [20, drums, background vocals], and Rex Wolf [21, bass, background vocals], are that rare collective who have figured out early on in their career how to combine rock, blues, alternative, pop, and psychedelia into a kaleidoscopic signature style of their own design. After spending two years amassing hundreds of thousands of streams independently and packing houses in the Pacific Northwest, the band took to the studio to pay homage to the past, while paving a path for the future and produced their 2022 self-titled full-length debut for EDGEOUT Records.

We had a blast talking with Reign about their experience of playing the iconic Oregon Country Fair, who Reign's influences are and how he is using them to propel his music forward, why he's working so hard to make a future for those he loves, the lessons he's learned regarding keeping your circle tight, how Bluphoria is feeling about their move from Eugene to Nashville, the magick of Sedona, Arizona, and a whole bunch more!
