Meet Lieven Devreese, the Belgian farmer behind Het Polderveld Farm, and the proud winner of the 2025 EU Best Organic Farmer Award. Lieven’s journey goes far beyond farming — it reflects a commitment to building a more resilient and community-centered food system.

His farm, Het Polderveld, has become a practical example of how sustainable farming can strengthen local systems:

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Feeds local families through a CSA supplying around 150 households with organic, seasonal produce.
