Representative Matthew Herridge is a prominent West Virginia businessman and political figure, currently serving as the Secretary of Commerce for West Virginia since January 16, 2025. A lifelong resident of the state, Herridge is a co-owner of several Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurants in Athens, Marietta, and Vienna, and previously managed a portfolio of Burger King franchises through his company, Charton Management, until their sale in May 2023.
