Sometime you gotta get a little French with it. Just ask the gang, as they go through what's Making Memories, including: the all-star game failing to Wheel and deal (02:05); Annapolis feeling the Blues (04:59); and pain and circuses (10:25).
Then it's time for the Guy-bunal to welcome to the show this week's guest, Charles Star, to talk heartbreak vs. miasma, the Cornell of social media status, and various varieties of blacks and golds (19:07). Plenty is going on in the world of sports, but this week's Making Memories is exclusively Diaz talking about what Brown can do for him (01:46).
Then it's time to meet this week's guest: Frankie de la Cretaz (11:46), author of the Out of Your League queer sports newsletter, here to talk about their book Hail Mary, a series of unfortunate recent events regarding trans athletics, and an exquisite pair of Guys: a nearly forgotten league that our guest helped shine a light on (53:58), and the star of that league whose star shown the brightest (1:01:19).
For more about the NWFL, in addition to Hail Mary you can check out the documentary The Herricanes!

It might have happened before last week's episode, but Hosts James and Diaz along with Very Special Guest Xavier would be remiss if they didn't talk about how the NBA Finals Made Memories for: a lover (02:26), a hater (05:53), a loser (10:16), and a winner (12:43).
Then, it's time to welcome KBO superfan Zac Petrillo (16:29) who catches the Guy-bunal up on Korean baseball before presenting one of its greatest Guys for consideration (38:55).

It's time to induct another season's worth of worthy candidates into the Hall of Guy, because there's definitely nothing else in the world of sports specific to this show that has recently been going on. That is, except for what's Making Memories: a brand new game called ".4% Or .More%" (02:18); and a double (09:14) cup check (11:33).
Then it's time for the class of Season 16, the Real American Noncontiguous Guys: a literal giant in the world of Puerto Rican basketball (19:44); the second best Virginal player in NBA history (24:56); a player from soccer and Hollywood pitches alike (32:05); a thin slice of meat in a superstar shortstop sandwich (36:46); and a name that must be said to be remembered (38:46).
Theme Music by Don Ham; Additional audio from The Price Is Right, Rick Derringer, and Frank Sinatra
Big Guys come in small packages sometimes, and the Guy-bunal will get to that right after going through what's Making Memories for them, including: talking about the NBA Finals by way of the cycling season (01:34); a contentious presidential election (07:39); a grand(e) American battle south of the border (15:26); and the brand new videogame genre called fantasy draft rogue-likes (26:38).
Then it's time for our final Real American Non-Contiguous Guy: a second nickel who squats and swats (34:16).

What is Guy? Just ask Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart.
"I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of players I understand to be embraced within that shorthand description, but Guy know it when Guy see it".
