Episode 57

On this day twenty years ago, Islamic terrorists hijacked multiple  commercial jetliners and crashed them into the World Trade Centers in  New York, the Pentagon in D.C., and a field in Pennsylvania.  Nearly  3,000 people died and the nation changed instantly. The White House  declared war on terror and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice in  response, but what actually happened was retribution plus twenty years  of war seen as an abject failure. Where did America go wrong, and what  are the spiritual considerations in a situation such as this? Join us on  this episode of the Removing Barriers podcast as we begin to scratch  the surface in search of answers.

BLM - 6

The general consensus is that a hypocrite is someone who says one thing but does something opposite. The lying politician, the womanizing pastor, and the two-faced friend are all worthy of ire. BLM cofounder Patrisse Cullors was widely labeled a hypocrite for espousing Marxist ideology while amassing wealth and realty for herself. In this episode of the Removing Barriers podcast, we evaluate whether Black Lives Matter is a hypocritical organization in light of what she did, or if there are other troubling truths that would clearly identify the movement as hypocritical independent of it.

Series: How Were Your Barriers Removed - 13

Behind almost every man of God is a wife who, through quiet confidence  in God, labors to manage the home, nurture and raise the children,  support her husband, mentor and encourage other women, and bless those without her family any way she can. She typically does so without  recognition, joyfully doing so for her Savior who removed barriers and  made her a glorious daughter of the King. Join us on this episode of the  Removing Barriers podcast as we talk to Debra Sommerdorf, wife of  evangelist Dave Sommerdorf and mother of six, and discover how Jesus  translated her from darkness to light that she might be enabled to serve  and how our barriers can be removed, too.

Parental guidance and discretion is advised for this episode.

Dialog about anything LGBTQ is always positive and uplifting...or else. Very few are willing to lovingly and truthfully discuss the immense spiritual darkness and oppressive weight on the souls of its adherents. In this episode of the Removing Barriers podcast, we talk to Matt, a missionary to Cambodia in whose life God destroyed barriers in order to save him from the homosexual lifestyle. Now he reaches out to others with the saving knowledge of Christ. He has written two books titled The Straight Series, available on Amazon.

Episode 49

It has been said that not supporting the president is like wishing that the pilot flying the plane we're all on crashes and burns. The scriptures are not ambiguous about God's desire for the relationship between Christians and their government: we obey, submit, and pray for them that rule over us as they punish evildoers and reward the good. What is a Christian to do, then, when the government seems to be doing the opposite? When they promote evil and punish good? When they overstep the boundaries of authority that God has ordained for them? How do we support an administration that is hostile to the Christian faith? Join us on this episode of the Removing Barriers podcast as we explore ways in which the Christian can obey God and honor authority, while standing firm for the godly principles laid out in scripture.
