President Donald Trump has pardoned Alice Marie Johnson, the great-grandmother whom Kim Kardashian West advocated for in a White House meeting last week.

The White House announced the news in a statement on Wednesday, saying: “Ms. Johnson has accepted responsibility for her past behavior and has been a model prisoner over the past two decades.”

“While this Administration will always be very tough on crime, it believes that those who have paid their debt to society and worked hard to better themselves while in prison deserve a second chance,” the statement added.

The pardon comes after Kardashian West met with the president at the White House last week to plead for clemency for Johnson, a 63-year-old first-time nonviolent drug offender who in 1996 was given a life sentence without parole.

New York man filed a lawsuit against CVS pharmacy for exposing his Viagra prescription to his wife that led to his "broken marriage," reports said Monday. Michael Feinberg sued the drugstore chain for unspecified damages.
According to the lawsuit obtained by the New York Post, Feinberg went to a Long Island CVS store to buy a prescription for eight 100-milligram pills of the erectile-dysfunction drug, with five refills. He told a store employee, identified in court papers as “Aurula,” that he would be paying for the medicine himself.
After explaining to the employee that the Viagra — which can cost more than $60 a pill — would not to be put through his insurance, Feinberg left.

One notable flaw in the ointment is that the PrivacyScore is based almost entirely on the policies published by the apps and tracking companies. As we’ve seen more than few times, companies occasionally end up violating their own privacy policies – sometimes accidentally, and sometimes accidentally on purpose.

Brock says they’re still trying to work out how to include actual compliance with policies and things like data breaches into his rating system, as well as how to deal with Do Not Track opt outs that are really Do Not Target Me With Ads But Continue to Collect My Information opt outs.

Is PrivacyScore a cure for Facebook’s app afflictions? Not really. It’s more like an over-the-counter medicine; it relieves the more obvious symptoms without removing the underlying cause. Still, the relief is welcome. Maybe one day it will force the big app publishers to clean up their acts, and push some of the more evil developers out of the app game entirely.

So-called feminist Germaine Greer has angered survivors of rape after she made dismissive comments about the form of sexual assault while speaking at the Hay Literary Festival this week.

Greer described the crime - which holds a maximum punishment of life imprisonment - as 'bad sex', and went on to say most cases of the assault are mere demonstrations of laziness.

'Most rape is just lazy, just careless, just insensitive,' she told her audience at the festival.

'Most rapes don’t involve any injury whatsoever,' Greer continued. 'We are told that it is a sexually violent crime, an expert like Quentin Tarantino will tell us that when you use the word rape you’re talking about violence, a throwing them down... it is one of the most violent crimes in the world. Bullshit Tarantino.'

Diminishing rape and the trauma it can cause even further, the writer said: 'Instead of thinking of rape as a spectacularly violent crime – and some rapes are – think about it as non-consensual, that is, bad sex.'
