Do you remember to the first time you were invited to a school dance or prom? How did that make you feel? It made us feel like we were on top of the world and on top of the world. We have an invitation to become followers of Jesus and just like to school dance we went all in to make sure that everything was perfect. We wanted to make things perfect. Jesus wants to do the same in our lives but through the eyes of humility, powerlessness, minority, and abandonment. Which is the opposite of what the world say we should be. Our society says we should be known by our accomplishments, our power in position, and status quo. See Jesus will perfect his power in us when we focus on things not of this world and become weird as we submit to his teachings and love.

The one thing that Scripture calls us to do from Genesis to Revelation is to wait upon God. It is the hardest thing to do. We would rather wait on tables than wait on God. When we wait on God we have to wait on him and he does it in his time frame and not ours. So, are you willing to wait on God?

The outcomes of righteousness in the world today is a journey of desires in our lives. Desires that were created by God for our experience when they are in him and for him. There are three desires that he wants us to experience in relationship with others and through his son Jesus. First, Oneness which is misunderstood by culture and considered to be unity. Second is Wholeness in the father and his son Jesus. Third is Holiness in our relationship with Jesus and others we love and come in counter with.
