It’s the air we breathe. Image. Vanity. Appearance. We come by it honestly (sort of). After all, each of us knows the unwritten rule of our culture, that we are judged based on how we look, how we act, what we say, what we drive, what we wear...

This re-programming is always running in the background of our lives, quietly taking us farther and farther from our true identity in God: loved, redeemed, adopted.

Let’s face it. Some people can be difficult (including us). But some people take it to another level. They are our enemies. They seem to have it out for us and get some twisted delight out of hurting us. What does Jesus have to say about this? We hope you will join us in worship this Sunday as we continue to ponder the good news of the kingdom of God, especially in regards to how we are liberated and empowered to navigate the same world our enemies inhabit.
