There are a lot of preachers out there who want you to believe you have to do certain things in order to be blessed. The truth is that every blessing God has for you – both present and future – is already yours in Christ. Followers of Jesus don't have to earn God's blessings. We don't have to perform for God. We don't owe God something in order to be blessed. We simply are blessed in Christ. For the next four weeks, we'll be teasing this out – our immense blessedness as a result of God's gift to us: Jesus.

Acknowledging our brokenness leads to intimacy with God. Confessing our brokenness leads to intimacy with others. But what if there is more to our brokenness than simply how it impacts us? What if it’s the key that unlocks, not just God’s grace in our lives, but also His power in the lives of others? Find out how this Sunday at CTR in part three of our series ‪#‎makeusbrave‬.

Many of us can look back at a painful story in our past when we stopped being brave. "I'll never hope again." "I'll never look stupid again." "I'll never get hurt again."

But digging in our heels like this takes away the very life we're trying to protect. We hope you join us this Sunday as we go a little deeper in bravely taking hold of the life Jesus has for us.

What's left when you've lost everything - or when you feel like everything is slipping from your hands? You and God. Face-to-face. We can run from him or we can courageously put ourselves back in his hands. This, friend, is where life begins. ‪#‎makeusbrave‬

Throughout this series we've learned that love evidences an authentic Jesus-person. So how do we begin maturing in this love? How do we throw off those old ugly feelings that always seem to be fighting our desire to care, to love, to be emotionally present, and to live in each others' stories?
