This Sunday we continue our sermon series in John. Pastor Mark leads us into a discussion of Jesus' miracles and how through His sacrifice we are capable of even greater miracles than the ones Christ performed when he was on Earth. But we need to have faith, disregard our own feelings of inadequacy and trust in God's plan for these miracles to happen. We need to especially remember that miracles do not primarily happen to satiate man's needs but to glorify God.

For Easter Service, we are reminded of the mercy Christ offers us. Pastor Ulysses through this passage in John teaches us how through Jesus we are redeemed in the eyes of God and can have a relationship with Him. How emancipating it is that we have a guide in this world full of trouble that guides us with a steadfast hand and with what culminates in everlasting joy! All we have to do is to trust Jesus, trust in His strength to begin walking with Him.

On this Good Friday's service, Pastor Ulysses discusses two of Jesus' betrayers near the time of His crucifixion. Through Judas and Peter, we witness how our God is one that knows betrayal. That He has endured the darkest things some of us have will ever experience - the betrayal of those closest to us. Yet through Jesus, we see the awesome power of His love. That he still willing to die for those that have abandoned Him. When we invite Jesus to our hearts, we share this supernatural love.

In this message, we look at Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday from the perspective of the multitude of disciples. Even as the religious leaders oppose the ministry of Jesus, the disciples cannot contain their praise for all that God has done through Him. This serves as a timely reminder of how we can be powerful witnesses of Christ by allowing our praise to overflow to those who need to hear about the saving love of God.

As we approach the latter half of Jesus' ministry, we recount the humbling act of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples. What does it mean for us to practice this same act in the world today? In this sermon, Pastor Ulysses preaches on how we can "wash the feet" of others, following Jesus' example of love and servanthood towards one another.

This week, we continue our series from the gospel of John. After Jesus resurrects her brother, Lazarus, we see Mary's extravagant display of love in response. From her actions, we come to understand the true nature and cost of worshipping Christ along with the humility it takes to live a life of devotion to Him. In the end, a life of worship demands that we joyfully surrender ourselves at the feet of Jesus.

The Sunday we continue our series on John. We learn how despite all of Jesus' miracles, the Pharisees decide to have him killed in order to protect their privileges. In a similar way, we Christians are sometimes tempted not to represent Jesus in our lives so we can secure our worldly privileges or reputations. Yet despite our sinful nature, God will always be there for us. He is always in control and if we go to Him, He can take our darkest moments and use them for our growth and salvation.

This week we continue on through John 11 where Pastor Ulysses explores a common question we often ask ourselves: How can we reconcile God's love for us when it feels like He allows trials and tribulations in our life?
