In our "anything to win" culture, the church may be tempted to keep out or kick out people who seem less than desirable. In Matt. 13, Jesus tells a parable about the Kingdom that reflects His love for all and gives us insight into His plan to deal with evil, which lets us off the hook from having to thin the herd.

To know Jesus fully is to know Him as savior, friend and Lord. We must see ourselves as His servants if we are to grow to spiritual maturity. Those who do not surrender to the Lordship of Christ will not experience a full relationship with Jesus.

How do we define wickedness? How do we overcome wickedness? The bible teaches that wickedness is defined by how we treat others and that we overcome wickedness with the same strategy Jesus used to overcome sin in our world.

God is so forcefully opposed to pride because it is a uniquely dangerous sin. Those willing to walk in humility will find grace.

Greed ultimately leads to a lonely, dissatisfying life. Living generously honors the Lord and allows us to connect with the things and people that will bring us true fulfillment.

We were created in the image of a God who is always at work, and as his sons and daughters, He invites us to participate in His kingdom work. Let us not be slack in this work he calls us to.

Wisdom is the plumbline that reveals true obedience to God. Jesus is the personification of God's wisdom.
