While psychology, sociology, medicine, & others sciences attempt to explain the human condition. According to the Holy Scriptures there are spiritual issues which science cannot explain. There are spiritual influences at work as well which afflict the unbelieving and at times oppress believers.

On the road to Calvary Jesus is confronted by nay sayers and critics. Sometimes ministry has adversity but we must keep our hands in his hands if we are to succeed.

Where your treasure is there your heart will be also is a reminder from Jesus that we must carefully choose the things we value. The things that we value will overtime consume our heart, mind, soul, and strength. Let us carefully choose the things that we love.

A Legacy is it is the portion of ones accumulated resources that is given to another.

Asking the right question is imperative when you desire to serve the Lord. Whether you are serving on a ministry team or desire to develop your service as a minster. The questions that you ask your team or yourself will have an impact on the ministry strategies that you develop.

It is critical to understand our identity as disciples of Christ. Isaiah adds clarity to our role and purpose as God's elect. We are to start each day God centered, people focused, totally dependent, with a heart of surrender.

Increasingly the body of Christ is losing sight of its identity and purpose. When purpose is not known abuse is inevitable.

As we begin a new year it is imperative that every Christian has a vision for God's plan for their individual and corporate ministries and biblical values to accompany them. Start 2013 with a clear plan. While this message focuses on The Church of Columbia it is a reminder to all Christians live their lives with purpose.

After describing the most beautiful tree in the most beautiful place, Heaven; the Apostle John warns the church of those who will not inherit the Kingdom of God; Dogs, Fornicators, Murderers, Idolaters, etc.

Heaven is this one of a kind place--reserved for a one of a kind people; those who trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

As we prepare for another year I would like to encourage you to consider all of the changes which need to take place in your life. God will use you in 2013 as you surrender to his Love, Lordship, & Leadership
