This service focused on our trip to Haiti. The need there is great and I believe God wants us to develop ministries to empower and equip.

Friends there are so many who are on the slippery slope of religion. They are people who have a zeal for God but not according to knowledge. At the end of Acts 18 and the beginning of Acts 19 we see how responsive true believers are to truth and the inner working of the Holy Spirit.

In Acts 17 we see the challenges of ministry. Paul and Silas used every opportunity to share Christ. This chapter reminds us that there will be challenges as people accept and reject the good news of the gospel.

There are many unclean spirits which indwell people today. The Power of God through Jesus can set free any and all who are possessed, oppressed, or depressed by unclean spirits

As problems arise in the church we are expected to address them; by prayer, the Word of God, and godly counsel leaders should seek to resolve issues as they arise in the body of Christ.

Even in the first century church they experienced growing pains. They were confronted with the challenge of living by the Law or living by Grace.

Acts 13 describes the calling and mission work of Paul and Barnabas. The life of a minister can be very challenging, there are those who will oppose you and the message of life and hope that God fills every prophets mouth with.

Salvation does not happen because of slick worship music well placed cues, and lighting. It is orchestrated by the Holy Spirit. We need to be prepared vessels so that God can work through us by His Spirit.

When the word of God is preached, lives are changed. We must believe with all of our heart that the gospel has the power to change lost and broken people.

Although the first century church experienced persecution we should not see this as a past historical event. Satan is still against God's plan and purposes. We know that he can't win but he yet tries to fight the body of Christ. This message is a warning to the church about false religion and the development of the future "One World Religion"
