Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I discuss: Why so many Christians are being defeated in their walk with Christ. It is because they CHOOSE to remain and conduct their lives in willful blatant REBELLION against the One who purchased their freedom from a lifetime of slavery to sin with His precious blood! "For this is the will of God, that you be sanctified [separated and set apart from sin]: that you abstain and back away from sexual immorality" (1 Thessalonians 4:3). AMP
Amen! Folks, today we are talking about the "O' wretched man that I am" syndrome. Have you ever heard of this before? The Spirit of God told me about this doctrine/scapegoat of "O' Wretched Man that I am!" Because, many false leaders up in these apostate churches and among backsliding "christians," love this battlecry so much that it has become a doctrine to them! This is their mantra when they consistently entertain and indulge that flesh man/sin nature that should have been crucified with Christ! Blaming their wicked behavior on the O' wretched man that I am syndrome! They use what Paul said as a vehicle, a scapegoat, a cover-up for their rebellious reckless lifestyles against God, as if they have no part in it! "Woe is me" is constantly on their lips!
Listen, if you have sincerely and truly repented of your sins, you do not make provision for the flesh to be tantalized! You don't provoke. You don't tease. You don't flirt. You don't excite. You don't gratify. You don't satisfy, tempt nor bait that flesh man to resurrect by playing with 's fire!
I'd promised in my last episode, that I was going to research and pull into context what Paul said in Romans 7:24, "O' wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?" And we are going to find out WHY Paul was lamenting that his soul was wretched because of the good that he WANTED to do, he didn't do. But the evil, THAT which he did even more so. Therefore, he was torn and broken about this condition! The context of it all, is that Paul made this observation, this one reflection: living under the Law, the sinful man with a fallen nature, cannot please God by his works. That man may want to do good, but because of his regenerated, unborn, unrenewed spirit, he cannot! He will ALWAYS be wretched and lamenting! Paul was not making this cry in Christ, drenched in the precious blood of Jesus, under God's saving grace. That is what's being taught and have become a stumbling block to many and most in the Body. Therefore, we cannot use this any longer as a defense and excuse for wicked behavior, while professing the Name of Jesus as your Lord and Savior! So tune in to get all the details!
Live clean. Be holy. Consider all your ways before the LORD, for we will be judged by them! Amen 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!

  • Believers don’t ”wrestle” with sin!
Glory be to God! ** 🙋🏾‍♀️ STAY TUNED UNTIL THE VERY END OF THIS EPISODE! ** 🚩TUNE IN EVERY 2 TO 3 DAYS FOR NEW EPISODES! Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I discuss: While we are told in God's Word that in this present spiritual battle we call life, we wrestle "against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12). The true believer is not to "wrestle" with sin! The believer, then, who is living in willful sin, i.e., is habitually sinning, is not "wrestling" with sin. Rather, he/she is succumbing to sin. They are walking in willful, rebellious disobedience. To be blunt, they are choosing to sin for their own lustful pleasure instead of obeying the Lord in the power God has given to them to have victory over sin. They are choosing defeat and its losses instead of righteousness and its gains.
I know that may be shocking to most who claim that they still struggle with sin! The problem is, we have victory over sin, study Romans chapter 6. To "wrestle" with sin suggests an entangling involvement with sin. To “wrestle with sin,” then, is just another way of describing willful sinning. In other words, the one who is "wrestling" with sin, is ACTIVELY SINNING, regardless of what rationalization is given to suggest otherwise!
The Holy Spirit's plain command is "Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh" (Galatians 5:16). The person, then, who is actively sinning, is making a willful choice to walk in the corruption of the flesh, rather than the strength of the Spirit. He is choosing to sin when he has been given the ability to not sin. This is an act of overt rebellion against the rule of God in his life. It is a conscious act which will be judged by the Lord. We are commanded to "mortify," (to slay) sin whenever its temptations are manifested in our lives. We are not to feed it. We are not to continue to breathe life into it. Anything less than an active willful slaying of the deeds of the flesh will bring, at the very least, spiritual death, for "God is not mocked!" Amen AMEN! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!

  • Should a Christian be involved in protests?
Glory be to God! ** 🙋🏾‍♀️ STAY TUNED UNTIL THE VERY END OF THIS EPISODE! ** 🚩TUNE IN EVERY 2 TO 3 DAYS FOR NEW EPISODES! Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I discuss: Should a Christian be involved in protests? We need to know!
🚩 Sister Shannon, my precious sister in the Lord, this one's for you. You've brought something to the forefront that on a few occasions, I've made mention of before.
Folks, we're talking about the sin called RAILING as found in the Scriptures! Many well-meaning followers of Jesus' are participating in the sins of railing, clamor, slander, and reviling through worldly protests that produces hatred, anger, wrath, and violent behavior. Not realizing that RAILING is a sin! It doesn't matter if these protests are billed as "peaceful," "sit-downs," or "shut-ins," it doesn't matter! It doesn't even matter if your local church is backing it! Because if they are, that is a fellowship that most certainly needs to be forsaken! So, we are going to be dealing with railing, for the Bible tells us it is forbidden to participate in. A railer is someone who takes up a cause and wants to bring about justice by heading to the streets! But is this something we need to be involved in?
As news commentators, radio hosts and bloggers have snarkily commented, protesting has become America’s favorite hobby recently. Outrage has become fashionable, and people everywhere jump on various bandwagons regardless of whether or not they understand the issue at hand and the things at stake. Christians are called to love their neighbors and to be good stewards of the earth. They cannot do this, if they join in with whatever "movement" is currently popular!
The Bible calls for us in Psalm 37, to fret not of how the wicked prospers, for it only leads to evil. For the Lord laughs at the wicked one, for He sees that his day of defeat coming! They vanish—like smoke! They will perish! The Lord says that vengeance is Mine, I will repay! And that's what we trust in, not in our own efforts to right wrongs and bring evil ones to justice! THE LORD KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH HIS ENEMIES! Let us be about the Father's business! Amen!

  • The ”Heart” of Man Where Sin Lies
Glory be to God! ** 🙋🏾‍♀️ STAY TUNED UNTIL THE VERY END OF THIS EPISODE! ** 🚩TUNE IN EVERY 2 TO 3 DAYS FOR NEW EPISODES! Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I discuss: How the "heart" of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked (study Jeremiah 17:9-10), who can know it? The dark heart of a man that has not been regenerated, is filled with evil twisted perverse abominations, blasphemies, malevolent thoughts and schemes, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, adulteries, acts of greed and covetousness, wickedness, deceit, unrestrained conduct, envy and jealousy, slander and profanity, and the like. Unrighteousness is settled deep in the heart of a man that has not been reborn of the Spirit of God! Christ Jesus tells us about these things in Mark 7:17-23, how it is not what GOES INTO a man that defiles and dishonors him. But that it is what COMES OUT of a man's heart that defiles him and dishonors him!
Therefore, we will be taking a look at those sins that will keep us from inheriting the Kingdom of God. As we await the Day of His return to initiate Final Judgment, the question becomes, "What kind of people shall we be in the meantime?"
Peter answers this question when he prophetically talks about that coming Day (The Day of the Lord), when Jesus Christ will judge the inhabited world in righteousness, bringing about fiery destruction of this earth. Peter instructs us to be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him [at His return] spotless and blameless!
    🚩 2 Peter 3 - AMP
The Coming Day of the Lord
"First of all, know [without any doubt] that mockers will come in the last days with their mocking, following after their own human desires 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming [what has become of it]? For ever since the fathers fell asleep [in death], all things have continued [exactly] as they did from the beginning of creation.” 5 For they willingly forget [the fact] that the heavens existed long ago by the word of God, and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6 through which the world at that time was destroyed by being flooded with water. 7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly people. 8 Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day. 9 The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
🚩 A New Heaven and Earth
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish with a [mighty and thunderous] roar, and the [material] elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are on it will be burned up.
👉🏾👉🏾 11 Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be [in the meantime] in holy behavior [that is, in a pattern of daily life that sets you apart as a believer] and in godliness [displaying profound reverence toward our awesome God], 12 [while you earnestly] look for and await the coming of the day of God. For on this day the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the [material] elements will melt with intense heat! 13 But in accordance with His promise we expectantly await new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
14 So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him [at His return] spotless and blameless, in peace [that is, inwardly calm with a sense of spiritual well-being and confidence, having lived a life of obedience to Him]."

This includes the seventh and final "I Am" statement of the gospel of John. Jesus uses this metaphor to explain how our spiritual life, as born-again believers, is drawn from His life. God's intent for our lives is to progress from barrenness to fruitfulness, to spiritual abundance. Jesus also repeats His command for believers to love each other. In this context, He goes so far as to refer to those who follow His teachings as His "friends."
Beloved, as we approach the end times, we are living in the last hour of the last days and we must be ready to meet our risen King in His glory and power. He told us to let no one deceive us. We must be aware of wolves in sheep's clothing. We must be aware of false brethren. We must be aware that many will and have apostazied from the Living Christ. They have abandoned the faith and went back to Egypt and the vomit of their past wicked lives, lives that were apart from Holy Spirit. We must be aware that we have an enemy who prowls around as a roaring lion seeking to whom he may devour. We must never forget that we live in an evil wicked generation where evil is celebrated and holiness and the gospel is shunned, mocked, criticized and rejected! We live in a time where being a follower of Jesus Christ is met with persecution, opposition, and confrontation. Our flesh still wants to indulge in sinful lust and evil behaviors that go against the Word of God.In spite of all this, let those who have called on the Name of the Lord to be saved, never forget:
👉 1 Corinthians 10:21 - "You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons."
👉 Ephesians 5:11 - "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them."
👉 Ephesians 4:27 - "And give no opportunity to the devil."
👉 1 Peter 5:8 - "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."
👉 1 Thessalonians 5:22 - "Abstain from every form of evil."
👉 Isaiah 5:20 - "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!"
👉 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 - "But test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil."
👉 Romans 13:12 - "The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light."
👉 James 4:7 - "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
👉 Ephesians 5:15-16 - "Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil."
👉 Titus 1:15 - "To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled."
👉 John 3:19-20 - "And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed."
👉 Luke 10:19-20 - "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

  • The Lord forces us to make a choice: REPENT or PERISH!!

Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I discuss: Repentance is absolutely necessary for the remission of sins (study Acts 3:19). SALVATION COMES THROUGH REPENTANCE! You cannot believe in Jesus and continue to live in opposition to Him. Unless you repent, unless you turn away from your sinful ways, you and I will perish!
🎯 The Lord forces us to make a choice. REPENT or PERISH.
As we look at today's text (Luke 13:1-5), we see the Lord Jesus Christ responding to them who told, "Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices" (v. 1). They were most likely thinking that these Galileans somehow brought this calamity upon themselves by some unrighteous act of theirs. Jesus knowing their thoughts, asked this question, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things" (v. 2)? By answering His own question, He redirected their focus to their own lives and said, "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish” (v.3). And to make this point even more poignant, He brought up how 18 people in their very own town, Jerusalem, died when a tower in Siloam fell upon them. He asked them, "do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? Again, He directed them to their own lives in verse 5 by saying, "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”
🚩 Jesus has given His audience, and He has given us, only two options. REPENT or PERISH. In the Hebrew, the word for repentance means “to turn.” Repentance is to turn away from our lives apart from the Lord and to turn back to Him. And going forward, SIN NOT!!!
Repentance is a change of mind and change of heart of such a scale, that is causes a man/woman to HATE what he/she once loved - SIN & WICKEDNESS and to LOVE what they once hated - RIGHTEOUSNESS in JESUS CHRIST! Going forward, we walk in obedience to the One who willingly offered up Himself as a sacrificial Lamb, went to the cross, dying for our sins and reconciled us back to God!
REPENT! There should be no delay! You dare not postpone repentance! The Galileans who were slain by Roman swords and the people who were crushed by the Tower of Siloam. They had no warning. Lest we forget, repentance cannot be exercised in the grave!! Is it not an act of wisdom to repent now? Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!

  • Some people think they are going to Heaven but they’re not! ”Eternal Security:” Do We Have It?
Glory be to God! ** 🙋🏾‍♀️ STAY TUNED UNTIL THE VERY END OF THIS EPISODE! ** 🚩TUNE IN EVERY 2 TO 3 DAYS FOR NEW EPISODES! Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort the Body of Christ: You and I cannot live a life of WILLFUL SIN and expect to inherit the Kingdom of God! We must conduct ourselves worthy of our calling! Most "Christians" and Christian denominations believe in the false doctrine of "Once Saved Always Saved" (OSAS) or "assured eternal security." According to that doctrine, if someone is born-again, that person can "never lose their salvation, no matter how they live." However, this doctrine is nowhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures. Namely, because a person GIVES UP their salvation. It's not lost. THEY forfeit it by their offensive disobedient acts of rebellion against the One who saved their soul from God's wrath! Those who fall away and withdraw from Christ, to their eternal demise, fall from grace by their own doing!
🚩 "If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken off] branch, and withers and dies; and they gather such branches and throw them into the fire, and they are burned" (John 15:6).
All right folks, let me make this as painless as possible. The one who endures until the end, the one who remains abiding in Christ Jesus, the one who lives a repentant holy and righteous life, as they are being led and prompted by the Holy Spirit, the one who stays out of willful deliberate sin, the one who strives to enter the narrow door, the one who obeys the Father and the Son, the one who loves the brethren, the one who is truly about the Father's business, the one who lives a consistent, sensible, godly, and upright life... that's the man, that's the woman Christ Jesus was talking about that no man can pluck out of His hand (study John 10:27-30)! Jesus said the one who endures until the end, is the one who will be saved (study Matthew 24:13). It will NOT be the one who only makes a professing confession of Christ, but yet their lives are willfully characterized by sin! It's not rocket science folks!
BOTTOM LINE: We need to rethink the possibility of apostasy and realize that we can lose our very salvation, when we refuse to remain abiding in Christ Jesus. As we abide in Him, He abides in us! But if we become withered, broken off branches and break the vital connection/union we have with The Vine (Jesus Christ), our only expectation is fiery Judgment! When we can turn against Him and rebel against His will and purpose; we can fall from grace and be forever lost because of our own free and foolish choices. If that happens, it is not God’s fault, it is ours! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!

  • What life looks like without sin in it? Can we live without WILLFULLY SINNING?
Glory be to God! ** 🙋🏾‍♀️ STAY TUNED UNTIL THE VERY END OF THIS EPISODE! ** 🚩TUNE IN EVERY 2 TO 3 DAYS FOR NEW EPISODES! Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I discuss: DON'T TRY THE LORD WITH YOUR OFFENSIVE DEFIANT ACTS OF DISOBEDIENCE AND EXPECT TO ENTER HIS KINGDOM!! A life without sin looks like this: "Walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts]" (Galatians 5:17). Sin always leads to death and those who habitually practice IT will perish! In order to find out whether we can live without sin or not, we first have to clarify what sin is. The transgression of the law is considered to be a sin in God’s eyes. God has given us the commandments because He wants us to keep them. It is a sin to ignore God’s Word intentionally. That’s why it is sinful to disobey the commandments of God. The New Testament says: "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law" (1 John 3:4). James 1:15 warns us of the consequence of giving into our desire, which is falling into sin. When we say "yes" to the desire to do what we want, instead of trusting God and obeying Him, sin is born! Then sin grows up and produces death: ETERNAL SEPARATION FROM THE FATHER AND THE SON, TORMENTING IN THE LAKE OF FIRE FOR ALL ETERNITY (study Romans 6:23 & Revelation 20:15)!
So, is it possible to live a life that is not characterized by sin? ABSOLUTELY YES! Why? Because, #1 We fear God. #2 We love God. #3 We appreciate what Christ has done for us at Calvary. #4 WE DON'T WANT TO GO TO !! The biblical truth of the matter is we who are born of God's Spirit, Who indwells us permanently, do not, cannot, go on sinning, because we are born-again. The life of the true born again follower of the Lord Jesus Christ is not characterized by HABITUAL, willful, deliberate, knowing sin (study 1 John 3:9-10)!
Jesus’ behavior shows us that God doesn’t want us to sin at all. He Himself was free of sin and taught us how to live a holy life according to God’s will. He also strongly warned the people to live without sin! Jesus absolutely did not approve or tolerate sin, IN SPITE OF WHAT SOME BELIEVE (i.e., the false doctrine of "eternal security/OSAS")!! As we try to finagle ourselves around the Father's righteous command to "be holy as He is only," we need to keep in mind what Christ Jesus warned in Luke 13:5-9, "I tell you, no; but 👉unless you repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways and live changed lives], you will all likewise perish. 6 Then He began telling them this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree that had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it, but did not find any; 7 so he said to the vineyard-keeper, ‘For three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and have found none. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground [depleting the soil and blocking the sunlight]?’ 8 But he replied to him, ‘Let it alone, sir, [just] one more year until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; 9 and if it bears fruit after this, fine; but if not, 👉cut it down.’” Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!

  • (REPOST) ...”But what will you do when the end comes?” THE DAY OF JUDGMENT
Glory be to God! ** FYI - Apologies for the microphone static in the beginning of the podcast, but it goes away!)
🙋🏾‍♀️ Hey everyone! 😊💥 Join me today as I discuss: Any doctrine that is contrary to the Gospel is damning! If we buy into it, we will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire! I was reading Jeremiah 5:30-31 that says: "An appalling and horrible thing [bringing desolation and destruction] has come to pass in the land: 31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule on their own authority; and My people love [to have] it so! But what will you do when the end comes?" And that question prompted me to give some thought about what WILL happen when the end comes? The Lord did say, many (of these lying prophets) will say to me on that day, "Lord Lord..."
You have to understand what was going on with Judah when the prophet Jeremiah was speaking to them on behalf of the LORD in this verse. They were a corrupt society! They eagerly ran after lying and deceiving prophets and the people love to have it so! They did not fear God for His mighty power nor give Him thanks! Pretty much as we see going on today!
Paul told Timothy correctly when he said, there will come a time when people will turn from sound doctrine; and they will find teachers who will tickle their ears with what they want to hear - all the while being in willful sin against God! Those who are in deliberate sin and call themselves "Christians," are deceived! God has called us to live holy and to come out from anyone who teaches godliness is gain; we are to withdraw ourselves from them! Paul said that if anyone teaches you another Gospel, may they be accursed! Remember what Lord Jesus said, there are wolves out here... pretending to be sheep, BEWARE! Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I discuss: As was Paul's summation & conclusion, so is ours who love Christ Jesus, "For to me, to live is Christ [He is my source of joy, my reason to live] and to die is gain [for I will be with Him in eternity]" (Philippians 1:21). AMEN!! Being a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, is choosing to live for Jesus instead of living for ourselves. He made His requirements clear: “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23). Carrying a cross means we are dying to our right to be our own boss. We cannot have two masters; Jesus will not share His throne (Luke 14:26–27; Galatians 1:10; Matthew 6:24). We either live for Jesus or for something or someone else. As we live for Jesus, He empowers us to live the godly lives we were created to live (1 Peter 1:16; Hebrews 12:14).
Living for Jesus means that pleasing Him is our highest aim, "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Colossians 1:10). Our love for Christ Jesus knows no bounds! That is why I want us to take a look at at least five ways, now that we are in Christ Jesus, what it truly means to live for the One who died and shed blood on our behalf so we don't face God's righteous judgment:
    1. Living for Jesus means we have died to sin.
    2. Living for Jesus means we have only one God.
    3. Living for Jesus means we diligently study His Word.
    4. Living for Jesus means we use our gifts to serve God and others.
    5. Living for Jesus means we know where our real treasure is.
We live this way because we love Him and long to please Him and the Father bringing glory to His name and because, "5 He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that we would be justified [made free of the guilt of sin] by His [compassionate, undeserved] grace, and that we would be [acknowledged as acceptable to Him and] made heirs of eternal life [actually experiencing it] according to our hope (His guarantee)" (Titus 3) AMP.
