Repent and Believe Podcast w/ Cynthia Smalls

Three days after He died on the cross, Jesus of Nazareth rose from His grave. But why did this have to happen? You may have heard that this cross and resurrection is the center of the Christian Gospel, but why did He need to come back to life again? Here are 4 reasons.

Scripture Text: Luke 24:1-7 (NIV)

There's no benefit in sin, none at all! You get no 'pats on the back" from the Kingdom of Satan! It'll all just be a waste of your time, money, talents, possessions, and ultimately the eternal damnation of your soul in , pointing you straight to the Lake of Fire! Nope! It Ain't Worth It!

Repentance is a decision! It means to change your mind about the way you've been living, you know - from doing your own thing. Having been convicted by the Holy Spirit, and with a contrite spirit, filled with godly sorrow and remorse, you are now saying, "I'm going to live to please Jesus, my Savior"!

Jesus was made perfect through suffering. Too often we think only of His suffering on the Cross, but Jesus suffered more than any other human being that ever lived!

Study Romans 9, 10, & 11:

Let's not fall into Israel's sin of unbelief. Harden not your hearts to Jesus. For now is the day of salvation!

Lovingly exhortation to all of our newborn babes in Christ. Before you go out and teach and preach to the Body of Christ, you must go away quietly, like the apostle Paul did, and sit before the Lord to receive revelation from Him! Unfortunately, there are newbies in the Body of Christ who have not gleaned enough of true biblical doctrine from the Lord Jesus Christ and are erroneously presenting false teachings and doctrines of devils to the Body of Christ. We who are mature in the Lord, having set aside a significant amount of time sitting up under the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, we must corral and abominish our babes in Christ that they cannot, albeit in their zeal, create stumbling blocks by preaching and teaching false doctrines to the Body of Christ. Just like Paul opposed Peter when he was in the wrong, we too must do so likewise. As a body, Jesus wants us to work together and to help each other along, epecially when we see error amongst ourselves. This is done with absolute love also with absolute righteous rebuke.
