REPLAY: Hear from Dr. Harris about advancing the profession and the importance of the DAT and its role in athletic training education.

Dr. Nikki Harris is a professor with the AT Still DAT Program and spends a lot of her time in service to the athletic training profession. In this episode we discuss how the NATA Career Advancement Committee came to be and how that plays into the young professional’s world of athletic training. As a compliment to being the chair of that committee, Dr. Harris also is on the NATA AT Compensation Task Force, focusing on Education to help better understand what ATs can do to help with compensation.  

Needless to say, Dr. Harris is busy but as you can see from this episode, loves working as an AT and also spending her time in service to the profession. Lots of good information to take away in this episode and we learned a lot on what is happening at the national level. Enjoy.
