She started learning the piano from a piano teacher who lived in her neighborhood when she was a child. Growing up in a household that loves music and encouraged by her piano teacher, she majored in classical piano. While she enjoyed performing on stage through collaborations and competitions, what she truly loves is planning performances for musicians who aspired to stand on stage. During her college years in Seoul, she founded a performance planning company and organized stages for artist friends she had established connections with over the years. In 2020, at her husband’s request, she moved to Jeju Island and established “Doremi Company”, where she now collaborates with over 20 artists to organize various performances and art programs. She believes that art has a positive impact on the world and is currently thinking of ideas to increase opportunities for ordinary people to engage in arts.
