In this episode I focus entirely on the relationship between fitness and politics and why it is no longer realistic to pretend the two do not intersect.
From the way COVID was politicized inside the fitness industry to the rise of outrage driven marketing and hidden agendas across the spectrum, health conversations became identity markers. In some cases people became more concerned with being right than being compassionate. The industry saw sales tactics built on fear, rebellion, and moral superiority instead of care for actual human outcomes.
This conversation is not about party loyalty. It is about the moral and ethical responsibility that comes with influence. Coaches, gym owners, and creators shape culture whether they intend to or not. Strength without empathy is incomplete. Wellness without concern for other people misses the point entirely.
If fitness is about improving lives then we have to be willing to examine how our platforms, language, and silence affect the people around us, especially in a climate that often rewards division over decency.
