When Bearing Arms contributor John Petrolino started digging into the data on concealed carry permits in NJ, he found Black applicants were being denied at a much higher rate than their white counterparts. Now the non-profit Rise Against Hate has come out with their own research showing Black applicants are TEN TIMES more likely to be denied the right to carry, often for subjective reasons by licensing authorities.
