Today on Armed American Radio Daily Defense, guest John Petrolino from Bearing Arms discusses the headway being made in NJ fight for gun rights. NJ has always been an uphill climb when it comes to the right to bear arms and our 2nd Amendment however headway is being made. New pro-rights, pro-gun groups in NJ are seeking to wipe out the states ban on firearm suppressors including the ASA teaming with local groups in a pending lawsuit seeking to abolish the current ban. Yes, it’s an uphill climb but isn’t everything in a state like NJ?
AAR Washington DC Reporter Neil McCabe sits in for Mark
Today on Armed American Radio Mark and Andy Hooser discuss the recent UFO hearings on the Hill and tie the media lack of coverage to political coverage in general. How media creates narratives they want you see and how they omit what they don’t want you to see. Trump meets with MSNBC hosts and appears to extend a friendly had to the media figures who treated him horribly for the past 8 years. What does Trump have up his sleeve and why overnight are two of MSNBC’s most hateful hosts extending an olive branch to the President-Elect? What game are the Democrats playing?
Today on Armed American Radio third hour Roundtable, the crew discuss Michael Moore’s recent comments about Trump voters, America being a bad place and filled with bad people..his words. Conversation also included the things the crew think Trump can do on his first day in office to advance our gun rights and his 2a campaign promises to safeguard our second amendment rights and freedoms, including eliminating the ATF and or at least ridding it of its anti-gun leadership. Media figures were discussed who still don’t understand their own arrogance including Michael Smerconish at CNN alluding to his belief that voters were too stupid as the media tried to tell us Trump was bad voters were too stupid to figure it out. If only we had listened to the media pundits, like him.
Today on Armed American Radio hour 2, Mark talks with Reporter Neil McCabe from RedState.com about Donald Trumps immediate actions concerning the right to bear arms and second amendment issues from day one of his administration upon inauguration, including ATF and legislation including the Hearing Protection Act and CCW national reciprocity. Neil discusses the politics capital Trump might spend on Gaetz for AG and the Offic4 for Gun Violence Prevention.
AWR Hawkins from Breitbart News talks recent work at Breitbart News columns and continues the discussion on things Donald Trump can do immediately to advance his campaigns pro-second amendment campaign promises.
Today on Armed American Radio Mark talks with Stephen Gutowski from the Reload. Topics include recent Reload column about the things Donald Trump can do RIGHT NOW on day one to protect our second amendment rights and gun rights going forward. This includes eliminating Steven Dettlebach as head of ATF and moving on closing down the Biden era Office of Gun Violence Prevention which is nothing more than a cover for White House gun control.
King Randall, founder of www.XforBoys.org discusses his recent Instagram posts that went viral when Elon Musk retweeted his posts giving him over 40 MILLION views on the platform. Randall mentors young black kids in a crime ridden city, Albany GA to give them a head start on life. His messages include teaching the kids marksmanship and eliminating the curiosity of guns the kids have grown up with and teaching them safety and skills necessary as a productive adult in society.
Today on AAR Daily Defense, Mark speaks with Friday regular Paul Markel from Student of the Gun. Mark and Paul discuss the current uproar in DC from known swamp creatures such as John Bolton and others mocking Trumps pick for AG, Matt Gaetz. Seemingly unaware of their own irrelevance as DC Insiders and Swamp trolls, the establishment base just simply doesn’t get it.
Today on Armed American Radio’s Daily Defense, Mark speaks to Dr. John Edeen from Doctor’s for Responsible Gun Ownership (DRGO). Topics of discussion included the recent cabinet picks by Trump, John’s views on the future of gun rights not just in the Senate but during the entire Trump term. Mark and John also covered recent comments from Senator Mazie Hirono from HI and her stupid comments about the 2nd Amendment being a right given to us by the Supreme Court in 2008, not by the bill of rights. Apparently she missed that one.
Dick Durban, Democrat from IL also spoke stupidly about the right to bear arms at the same Senate Judiciary hearing on Wednesday when he mentioned the Senate under Republican control should ban bump stocks, which the Supreme Court ruled are not machine guns and can’t be banned under the current law.
Today on Armed American Radio, Mark engaged in a conversation with Lee The Gunwriter Williams, an investigative journalist from the Second Amendment Foundation. The discussion revolved around the rapid pace at which the Trump transition team is advancing to implement its agenda and appoint cabinet members. Mark and Lee explored the potential pro-gun rights legislation that Trump intends to expedite through the House and Senate, particularly the Hearing Protection Act and some form of national concealed carry reciprocity.
Furthermore, they delved into the apparent signs of the decline of the “mainstream legacy media” as we have known it for years, following the Trump landslide over Harris. The meltdown of the left as a result and indications that these legacy media outlets are gradually acknowledging their own self-inflicted demise were also discussed. The LA Times owner’s decision to fire the entire editorial board and its subsequent shift towards actual objective news reporting, while distancing itself from opinion pieces masquerading as news, was mentioned. This move may draw inspiration from Jeff Bezos’ approach at the Washington Post.
Today on Armed American Radio Daily Defense, Mark talks with David Codrea from Waronguns.com about the state of the nation post-Trump election victory and what it means for our 2nd Amendment gun rights going forward. The discussion centered around the Senate leadership battle brewing in DC now that Republicans have regained control of the US Senate. Who will succeed Mitch McConnell as Majority Leader? The three top contenders so far to date are John Thune, John Cornyn, and Rick Scott. None are top picks for Mark or David, and together we break down the good, the bad, and the ugly of each of the three.
The legacy media failures were also discussed in detail and how the breakdown of failed media will impact the Trump administration. Will the media be relevant moving into the future post-election after so many lies and bias were obvious? Will media ever be trusted again on any level by voters? The consensus on AAR is NO.
