In a departure from our usual format, Marc gave us three recommendations to discuss this week. Then, we talk more generally about the creative process involved in Marc's work as an improv musician. We have a fun conversation about the hallmarks of Bollywood, including some brief history of the industry and where it stands today. Joey literally has no idea. This week, they boys are talking comedy. They start with their recommendations, which include John Mulaney and Bill Hicks. This lasts a while, and Ben tries to deliver his own versions of jokes...and fails. Then they talk about stand-up comedy more generally, and they deal with some interruptions and technical difficulties. They watch a trailer for an upcoming Ricky Gervais comedy special, and they just can't seem to stop talking about stand-up comics. Finally, they recommend underrated movies for next week, like Killing Them Softly and Mumford. Get into it!

They begin by talking about last week's recommendations, including Jets to Brazil's "Orange Rhyming Dictionary" and Rainbow Kitten Surprise's "Seven + Mary." Next, some general music discussion ensues, including the fact that they both play instruments! They then discuss three albums that characterize their musical tastes at different times of their lives. Joey doesn't think he knows the band Yes...shame! Aaaand they watch a trailer for the new Snow Patrol album...so that happened. Get into it!
The boys are talkin TV this week! They start with television shows that they both just started, Ben gets a little nostalgic and Joey gets a little political. After that, they get into some of the most influential shows in their lifetime. Joey also lists too many shows and Ben gets into one show in particular.
