Nicholas Kitchen is a violinist in the Borromeo String Quartet - they are the ensemble in residence at New England Conservatory, the Taos School of Music, the Heifetz International Music Institute, and the Isabella Stewart Gardiner Museum in Boston. Nick also has a private studio at NEC, performs as a soloist, and arranges pieces for the quartet.

Here's a conversation with Lysander Jaffe from the archives - Lysander is a violist in Palaver, and also a violinist, a vocalist and a teacher in the Boston area. He is in the band Culomba, and is assistant conductor of SingPositive, an intergenerational choir in Jamaica Plain.

Josie Davis is a violinist in Palaver, and the Halcyon String Quartet, and is the Advancement Officer at Bay Chamber Concerts and Music School in Rockport ME. Celine Ferro is Professor of Clarinet at Southern New Hampshire University, instructor at Winchester Community Music School, and instructor at Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra's ICP program. She also enjoys riding her bike and shark watching.

Sophie Michaux is a mezzo-soprano in the Boston Area - she’s member of, Lorelei Ensemble, Sophie et Adam (performing french cabaret music), a founding member of the band Culomba, and a regular performer in styles from Italian opera, to gospel and American shape note.

Kiyoshi is a violinist in Palaver Strings, in the Rasa String Quartet, and he is a health and wellness coach at Train from Within. He and I talked about his upbringing, his neighborhood in Chicago, youth orchestras, the Vamos’, and the effects, positive and negative, of diving deep into the competitive of violin performance.

Here's a conversation I had with Heath Marlow. Heath is a cellist, a founding member of Community MusicWorks in Providence RI, former Associate Dean of Arts Leadership, at New England Conservatory (where he also led the Sistema Fellows Program and Sistema Fellowship Resource Center), and current Director of Development at Emmanuel Music in Boston.

Brianna Fischler is a violist in Palaver Strings, where she also serves as Education Coordinator. She is also certified in Early Childhood Music Learning Theory and the Suzuki Method. We met at Boston University, and I see her every Thursday, when we sing to babies through our work at Bay Chamber Music School. Enjoy!
