With Trump's actions in Venezuela and Iran, many right-wing commentators, like my BlazeTV colleague John Doyle, are asking if we should embrace the idea of American empire. This is a critical discussion and a topic that I have invested a lot of time understanding. I respond to the notion that America should expand its role as the global hegemon and provide some alternative models for imperial political structures.
